Greta Thunberg Rips Joe Biden as the Hits Keep on Coming
Who would have thought that I’d ever agree with anything Greta Thunberg has to say? Yet, here we are, with the climate cult leader slamming Joe Biden for not being a leader, something every person on the right has long believed is correct. Of course, the details of why she’s slamming Biden are where things sharply diverge. Still, I’m here for it, if only for a moment.
The comments originally came from a slobbering profile in the Washington Post. The interviewer asked Thunberg if she was inspired by world leaders such as Biden for their supposed action on climate change. She wasn’t amused, per The Daily Wire.
“If you call him a leader — I mean, it’s strange that people think of Joe Biden as a leader for the climate when you see what his administration is doing,” Thunberg responded.
“The U.S. is actually expanding fossil fuel infrastructure,” she claimed. “Why is the U.S. doing that? It should not fall on us activists and teenagers who just want to go to school to raise this awareness and to inform people that we are actually facing an emergency.”
I’d like to offer a rebuttal here, but not as a defense of Biden himself, who has continually pushed climate hysteria. Rather, let’s talk more broadly. The United States continues to lead the world in emissions reduction. Meanwhile, Thunberg’s precious Europe is lagging well behind, with countries like Germany actually increasing emissions while taking nuclear power plants offline so they can suckle at Russia’s energy teat. But I’m sure Thunberg, in all her confused ideology, is against nuclear power as well.
Secondly, who is stopping Thunberg from going to school? It would actually be great if she’d cease the fear-mongering about the world spontaneously combusting and just studied math or something. I can assure her that she’ll survive the endeavor, at least as far as the climate goes. So while she’s right that Joe Biden is a terrible leader, the fact that he’s not willing to fully destroy the world economy over climate change is actually a good thing.
Another tidbit from this profile that I found interesting is that these climate hysterics are still completely unable to actually articulate what they want. You’d think that would be a simple task. Instead, you get word salads like this from Thunberg.
“People ask us, ‘What do you want?’ ‘What do you want politicians to do?’ And we say, first of all, we have to actually understand what is the emergency,” she claimed.
“We are trying to find a solution of a crisis that we don’t understand. For example, in Sweden, we ignore — we don’t even count or include more than two-thirds of our actual emissions. How can we solve a crisis if we ignore more than two-thirds of it? So it’s all about the narrative. It’s all about, what are we actually trying to solve? Is it this emergency, or is it this emergency?”
Yes, people do ask “what do you want?” But notice, even as she admits that is a problem, she still can’t figure out how to just say what she wants. That’s because the climate change cult either doesn’t know what they want or want things so horrific for the world’s population that they purposely avoid saying them out loud. Now that I think about it, it’s almost certainly the latter.
But hey, a stopped clock and all that. Thunberg is correct on Joe Biden not being a leader. That was shown by yesterday’s spectacle of him admitting defeat on COVID-19. Yet, isn’t it pretty embarrassing that our president is so weak and ineffective that he’s now being dunked on by a delusional teenager?
