WWWP Blog Guidelines and Commenting Policy
This is the reconstituted version of the Disqus channel “Whats Wrong
With People." We aim to provide an environment where our readers can openly share their ideas about the news of the day. We don't want anyone walking on egg shells here. At the same time we do have a few very basic guidelines in place to help keep things running smoothly.
• The quickest way to lose your commenting privileges is by participating in the following activities while posting, but are not limited to: Posting about another poster's family members. Bypassing conversation and debate and going straight for targeted and/or broad insults for the sake of trolling an individual or WWWP as a whole. Serial flagging/downvoting without cause (goes for mods too). Unnecessary personal drama with other posters. Personal fights that spill over to multiple threads. Stalking a poster from one site to another and ending up here.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DISALLOW ONE WORD: The N-word, plus its variations. Comments that get caught in the word filter will be put through an automated process where they are deleted as soon as they are posted. They will no longer go into pending to be manually reviewed unless that poster is a trusted user. Please note that after multiple violations, an offending poster will be removed from the trusted user list and the automated rule applied.
• Showing up with the intent to disrupt conversation instead of engage in the ongoing discourse will result in a permanent ban.
• Showing up to downvote and/or flag comments while never joining the conversation is an immediate permanent ban.
• This is not a resolution channel; please leave your moderation issues from other channels at their proper places. (Special exceptions are granted at the Board's discretion.)
• If you moderate or own another site please be aware that banning a poster on your site and then following them here to harass them is considered targeted stalking and will result in a permanent ban.
• Antisemitism is not tolerated.
• Actual racism, not the made-up racism, is not tolerated.
• Comments disrespecting Jesus' name and/or the character of God may be taken down at any moderators discretion.
• Old channel drama, new channel drama, and references to old doxxing drama outside of the old/new channels are not tolerated.
The W3P Editorial Board and
selected contributors will post articles, either in full or in part, in
order to spark a discussion among the regular community members and
visitors.
