PAY UP, DEADBEATS!

Beta Males and 'Mean Girls' at NATO

Will Not Deter America's Bully President

Hot mics are always fun to capture unguarded moments and today's example was a doozy. Justin Trudeau was kvetching with the other girls at some cocktail party before the NATO summit and mocked President Trump behind his back, complaining about the boss taking up time with press conferences. It's pretty cringy.

But Dilbert creator Scott Adams pointed out in his broadcast earlier that to him, it just looked like "every beta male talking about their leader. I saw every lower level employee b*tching about the CEO." Adams continued, "Who talked about Macron behind his back? Probably nobody, do you know why? Was it because Macron did all good things? Could be, but maybe it's because he's not terribly important."

Adams pointed out that the only takeaway is that Trump is the most important person in the room and it should be expected that he's the one everyone is talking about. Adams also pointed out that the press is trying to make a big deal out of it. Exhibit A: The New York Times' Maggie Haberman tweeted, "Can't get over this video, both for the fact that POTUS hates the thought of anyone laughing at him and for the fact that he long used 'other countries are laughing at us' as an attack against his predecessors."

Adams thinks she's missed the point entirely. "I'll tell you what none of the leaders of the NATO alliance were doing," said Adams. "None of them were laughing about the United States because what the United States did was elect a bully to go over there and pick their pockets. So while the bully that we elected to go over there and pick their pockets had his hand into their pockets up to his elbow and was rummaging through their wallets to get them to pay more for NATO so that we would pay less, do you think that as he was pickpocketing them they were thinking, 'Ha ha! I laugh at the United States?'" Adams doesn't think so, and neither do I.
Adams closed out his thoughts on the incident succinctly. "If the worst problem the president this week has is little b*tches complaining behind his back....that's not much." Not only does Trump come off as looking like the most important man in the world, he also got everyone talking about Justin Trudeau's blackface problem by calling him "two-faced" on camera in response to his gossip girl moment. The word "faced" in relation to Trudeau was obviously going to spark more memes of the Canadian leader playing his favorite dress-up game. Well done, Mr. President. Don Jr. took the opportunity and ran with it.
But even while insulting Trudeau, the president stayed on task with his message that our NATO allies aren't paying their fair share. "He's not paying 2% and he should be paying 2%. It's Canada, they have money," the president said of Trudeau. Right on, Mr. President. Pick those pockets!
But the best part is this video where the president tells the Canadian leader how cheap he is and he's going to "put him on a payment plan," right to his face and not behind his back like a scared little girl. Watching Two-Faced Trudeau stutter and stammer and dodge is too good not to play on repeat. Trump gets him to admit he's paying a measly 1.3%. Why is that? Canada isn't a third-world country we should have to carry. Pay your bill, Trudeau. Why are we subsidizing these people?

Canada "signed on to an agreement to move 'toward' the two per centspending target at the 2014 NATO summit in Wales," so why haven't they done so? Business Insider reports, "At present, NATO has 29 members and few have reached this goal — only nine members have met the 2% target. Meanwhile, the US spends about 3.4% of its GDP on defense, and comprises roughly 69% of overall defense spending by NATO member states." I say we should tie our contributions to Canada's and only pay what they pay until Trudeau coughs up what he owes. In light of these facts, I couldn't be happier that our president makes these people act like untrained juveniles. They deserve less than zero respect.
Princess Anne also got in on the snubbing, rudely refusing to be in the reception line to greet the president and first lady while her mother, the Queen, scolded her. But really, who cares about Princess Anne? Doesn't she have enough to worry about with her weirdo brother who can't come out in public anymore after being exposed as a perverted embarrassment to the family with keys to Jeffery Epstein's sex lair? Seems like she should be more humble.
