This wretched witch needs to curb her incendiary rhetoric

By recklessly claiming her fellow members of Congress
are putting her life at risk,
this wretched witch is putting Ted Cruz’s life at risk.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had only been in Congress less than two months when I realized that this wretched woman isn’t “stupid-funny,” but “stupid-dangerous.”

Sure, she might have started out as stupid-funny. Heaven knows people on the Right have made a cottage industry of lampooning her for her lack of smarts or common sense.

But the truth is, it didn’t take long to realize that her stupidity isn’t a laughing matter.

She is a deeply dangerous, wretched little witch whose reckless rhetoric brings out the very worst in people.

This nasty little harridan discovered early on that she can use her radical, devoted social media followers to attack and harass anyone who criticized her. And she makes full use of the “quote-tweet” function on Twitter to direct her army of crazies at her target.

As I wrote in February of 2019:

She graduated to stupid-dangerous when she started unleashing her flying monkeys on everyone who made the mildest criticism of her on Twitter. She knows full well that her followers will rabidly attack her “opponents” but she does it anyway. She gins up hatred with a song in her heart.

And if her devoted flying monkeys will swarm anyone who simply says, “The Green New Deal is Cultural Marxism,” it isn’t difficult to imagine just how far they’ll go now that this wretched little witch is accusing Senator Ted Cruz of trying to get her murdered.

How do you think these unhinged flying monkeys she commands will react to that kind of over-the-top, slanderous accusation?

I’ll bottom-line it for you. If she doesn’t tone down her rhetoric, she’s going to get someone killed.

Yes, Alexandria is a deeply stupid fool. But there is nothing more dangerous than a deeply stupid fool with an outsized platform and thousands of angry, divisive followers at her command.

Any intelligent, sensible person would know that you don’t accuse someone of attempted murder just because it suits your political ends. And you especially don’t do it when you have a ready-made mob willing and eager to take the fight to those you deem your personal enemies.

Do you think it’s outside the realm of possibility that one of her die-hard fans won’t decide to take it upon himself to rid the world of that “murderer” Ted Cruz? You think all of them will be satisfied with just swarming his Twitter feed and demanding he resign?

The fact is, there are seriously troubled people who latch on to demagogues. And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a dangerous demagogue.

By recklessly claiming her fellow members of Congress are putting her life at risk, this wretched witch is putting Ted Cruz’s life at risk.

And she doesn’t care.

Caring would require empathy, an understanding of consequences, not to mention a modicum of decency. And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is far too narcissistic to possess those common traits.

She’s a sociopath. And her reckless, dangerous rhetoric against Ted Cruz could very well put his life in danger.

It wouldn’t be the first time this woman’s rhetoric inspired violence.

In the summer of 2019, Alexandria turned her inflammatory rhetoric on ICE — accusing them of running concentration camps on the southern border. Within weeks, an Antifa terrorist attempted to blow up an ICE facility in Tacoma Washington and was shot dead by police.

This deeply divided country is a tinderbox right now. And inflammatory accusations like “Ted Cruz tried to have me murdered” is dousing that tinderbox in gasoline. And it isn’t a matter of “if,” but a matter of “how long.” How long before some deranged lunatic decides to take matters into his own hands?

It happened before, didn’t it — on June 14, 2017 on a baseball practice field in Alexandria, Virginia.

I wrote on that day that if you think they’ll tone down the rhetoric, think again. Well, here we are three and a half years later, and the rhetoric just keeps getting worse.

Ocasio-Cortez is proof that there is no limit to the incendiary rhetoric the Left is willing to deploy. Her “you tried to get me killed” tweet has put a target on Ted Cruz’s back.

And trust me on this. There are plenty more James Hodgkinsons out there stewing in rage and longing for a chance to act on this reckless, wretched woman’s behalf.
