April Ryan hates the truth
In an effort to shield Elijah Cummings (and his wife who hopes for his seat), April Ryan launches a nasty attack on Republican candidate Kimberly Klacik.
It probably doesn’t come as a galloping surprise that April Ryan hates the truth. April works for CNN. And CNN is allergic to the truth.
Here’s the deal.
Yesterday, Baltimore Republican Kimberly Klacik announced that she would be running for the Maryland District 7 Congressional seat that up until recently was occupied by Elijah Cummings.
And April Ryan is super upset about it.
Why?
Well, this is why:
So, let me see if I get this straight.
Kimberly Klacik spent some time filming in the rat-infested, garbage-strewn squalor in Baltimore — interviewing the residents who have to put up with the conditions on a daily basis. She then posted those videos to Twitter.
Back in the old days, this was something journalists did. They would go to an area, film it, interview people and report on it.
That might be why April Ryan is so angry.
You see, only journalists are supposed to do this kind of thing and Kimberly Klacik isn’t a journalist.
Of course, neither is April Ryan. She’s a former jazz DJ.
But forget about that!
Moving on.
President Trump saw these videos on Twitter and retweeted them – calling attention to the rat-infested, garbage-strewn squalor that folks in Elijah Cummings’ district have to endure.
Trump called Cummings out for failing his own constituents and, according to April, “Cummings never got over the attack on him and the city.”
And now he’s dead.
AND IT’S ALL KIMBERLY KLACIK’S FAULT!!!!!!!!
Only, Klacik didn’t “create all the controversy.” She didn’t import the rats or dump all that trash. The controversy was there all along. All Klacik did was pull back the curtain and show the world.
It’s true that, but for Klacik doing the job reporters don’t want to do, Americans would probably still not know that parts of Baltimore look like a slum in India.
But that’s not “creating a controversy.” Instead it is reporting the truth.
And that, in a nutshell, is why April Ryan has such a problem with Kimberly Klacik.
Klacik exposed the truth.
And April Ryan hates the truth (when the truth makes a Democrat look bad).
For the former jazz DJ, it would have been better if the rest of the country remained ignorant to the fact that Elijah Cummings failed his constituents. I’m sure the fact that Elijah’s wife hopes to replace him in Congress is a lot of the reason April is doing her level best to keep that truth hidden from view.
And with Kimberly Klacik entering that race, the truth of Cummings’ failure will be front and center.
That’s why April Ryan is going after Klacik.
But April isn’t the only one out to destroy Kimberly Klacik for having the temerity to expose the truth.
Ryan’s fellow CNN “media reporter” jumped into the replies of her tweet with this gem:
It’s hard to read April Ryan’s nasty tweet and not make the inference that Ryan is somehow blaming Klacik for Cummings’ death.
No, she doesn’t come out and say that. But the implication is there. And it didn’t go unnoticed.
Several people pointed that out yesterday, and Ryan huffily denied that’s what she meant.
Here’s just one example.
Problem is, some of the people making that inference have already begun to threaten Klacik to the point where she needs to hire security.
So if that wasn’t what April Ryan meant, perhaps she should have chosen her words more carefully.
Personally I think she intended to leave people with that impression. She intended to rile up Leftists to go after Kimberly Klacik for committing the crime of exposing the truth about Baltimore.
It’s April Ryan after all.
This is the woman who sent her bodyguard to rough up a reporter for filming her speech, then claimed ignorance about it.
Here’s the thing. April Ryan isn’t a journalist.
She is, like CNN itself, a Democrat Party operative.
Her only job is to shield and protect Democrats by ensuring that their utter failures in leadership never see the light of day.
This is why she’s angry and resentful.
This is why she’s targeting Kimberly Klacik.
It’s the proverbial “shooting the messenger.”
Klacik exposed the very truth April Ryan is trying desperately to hide – namely that Elijah Cummings got fat, rich and happy while his constituents were living in squalor.
But in the end, April’s reckless attack on Kimberly Klacik might just backfire on her in a big, big way.
Here’s hoping it does.
