Now the so-called “journalists” are blaming the “victim”
Good grief. This New York Times crap story about Brett Kavanaugh just keeps getting worse and worse. The two so-called “journalists” responsible for this hot mess first blamed their editor for the story not including the salient fact that the alleged “victim” has absolutely no recollection of this supposed “sexual assault.”
Now, these so-called “journalists” are blaming the “victim” herself.
I wish I was kidding.
These people have no shame. None.
This alleged “victim” doesn’t want to talk to these so-called “journalists.” So their response is to accuse her of being too drunk to remember the incident?
I think Stephen Miller is right.
These so-called “journalists” are happily tossing this woman under the bus in hopes that she will finally go on the record.
That isn’t journalism. It’s the most vicious kind of activism.
But it wasn’t just the “victim” not having any idea what these so-called “journalists” were banging on about that was omitted from this smear.
The New York Times also didn’t bother pointing out that the best friend of Christine Blasey Ford has no memory of the supposed party Ford claims she attended. Worse still, this best friend revealed that anti-Kavanaugh activists were pressuring and threatening her to alter her memory to line up with Ford’s.
You’d think witness intimidation would be newsworthy.
But not to the New York Times.
And that’s the thing right there.
These two activists have no interest in getting to the truth. It’s all about the Get Kavanaugh narrative.
Worse still, these two so-called “journalists” are only resuscitating the Kavanaugh smear campaign from a year ago in order to sell books.
“Journalism” is the last thing on their minds.
And since the only people who will buy this pile of crap book are members of the ResistanceLOL, these so-called “journalists” weren’t going to reveal something sick and twisted like the way a witness was bullied and threatened by the ResistanceLOL.
Remember last year when over two hundred newspapers coordinated editorials “decrying Trump’s anti-press rhetoric?”
Sure you do!
The “Free Press” didn’t like the fact that President Trump called them “the Enemy of the People.” So rather than prove they aren’t by adhering to the journalistic standards of a free and independent press, they all decided to get together to pen similar editorials calling Trump a meanie.
Then after the coordinated editorials were published, these garbage “journalists” went right back to doing all the garbage “reporting” that makes us distrust and despise them.
If they don’t like President Trump calling them “the Enemy of the People,” maybe these so-called “journalists” could stop smearing, slandering and intimidating the people.
It really should be that hard, you know.
But for them it is. Because they’re not journalists. The New York Times is not a reputable newspaper. And they don’t give a crap about the facts.
Frankly I don’t know what I find more repugnant – that the New York Times refuses to just admit their mistake and retract their smear. Or that Democrats in both the House and the Senate – not to mention those running for President – are hitching their wagons to this garbage story and demanding Kavanaugh be impeached.
Ayanna Pressley, the lesser-known member of the so-called “Squad,” has even introduced a resolution calling for an impeachment inquiry against Justice Kavanaugh.
All because of a garbage story that fell apart in less than 24 hours.
And that makes me wonder. Who is actually controlling the agenda of Congressional Democrats? Is it really Chuck and Nancy? Or is it the activist news media that peddles easily disproven lies in hopes that Democrats jump on them like hungry jackals?
It seems counterproductive for the Democrats in Congress and those running for President to play step-n-fetch-it to activist “reporters.” And yet here we are.
Americans do not trust the news media. And the Democrat Party’s willingness to do the news media’s bidding is a serious error in judgment.
But I say let ‘em.
If they’re willing to shoot themselves in the head as we enter an election year, that’s fine by me.
Ask yourself this. If the New York Times was trying to torpedo the Democrats’ chances in 2020, is there one single thing they would’ve done differently?
By pushing this garbage story – and having every other news outlet join in the smear – they are once again reminding the American people that they don’t give a crap about the truth and are not to be trusted.
By tossing the “victim” under the bus in order to save their garbage narrative, these so-called “journalists” are reminding the American people of just how awful and unethical they are.
And every Congressional Democrat and Presidential Candidate who flogs this garbage story as a way to destroy Brett Kavanaugh are once again showing the American people just how reckless, heartless and irresponsible the Democrat Party is.
This is Operation Backfire.
They all jumped aboard in hopes of destroying Brett Kavanaugh and in the end, they’re only destroying themselves.
And the fact that these so-called “journalists” will not be in any way held accountable for their feckless and irresponsible smear will only confirm that President Trump is right. They are the enemy of the people and they are completely unaccountable.
What’s more the Democrats going all in on this slanderous smear campaign might play well on ResistanceLOL Twitter, but out here in the real world, voters will be disgusted by it.
Just in time for 2020.
