Democrats Can’t Win Elections without Fraud
Every illegal vote cancels an American citizen’s vote. And the left loves it.

J. B. Shurk for American Thinker
It’s just crazy how difficult it has been to get Congress to care about secure, legitimate elections in the United States. For the record, elections in America are conducive to mass fraud. Although Democrats and Establishment Republicans say stupid and fundamentally dishonest things, such as “America’s elections have never been more secure,” American citizens know they are lying.
Although voters in national elections must be U.S. citizens, there’s no requirement to provide documentary proof. Just this week, the FBI arrested an illegal alien from Mauritania living in Pennsylvania (a traditional battleground state) who has voted in the last five presidential elections. A deportation order was issued against the Mauritanian back in 2000. Infuriatingly, the foreign national ignored his removal order for a quarter of a century and fraudulently claimed to be a U.S. citizen when voting in Pennsylvania elections. The man has been illegally voting in a battleground state since before the 9/11 Islamic terror attacks. This is how easy it is for foreigners to vote in American elections. They do so with relative impunity. They do so despite standing deportation orders. That’s how little they fear actually being held accountable for illegally voting in the United States.
This is why Democrat Senator Chris Coons recently made a scene in a committee hearing with former Homeland Security secretary Kristi Noem when he asked her, “Will you rule out the deployment of ICE or CBP officers to polling places this November?” Democrat Coons wanted Noem to swear under oath that she would keep immigration enforcement agents away from his voters. But why would his voters (if they are American citizens lawfully permitted to vote) care whether Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents or Customs and Border Protection officers are near polling locations? Could it be possible that Coons fears that at least some of his voters are not actually American citizens? To her credit, Noem responded to Coons’s question with a pointed question of her own: “Do you plan on illegal aliens voting in our elections?” Given how hard Democrats have long worked to scuttle commonsense voter identification requirements, the answer to Noem’s query appears to be, absolutely yes!
Although federal laws technically require state officials to handle federal elections in consistent ways, certain states apply those laws selectively, haphazardly, and negligently. Electoral integrity exists only if the people who collect and count votes enforce consistent rules that first establish a would-be voter’s eligibility to cast a vote. Whether voter eligibility rules are enforced depends upon a variety of factors, including (1) whether election volunteers and observers do their jobs professionally, responsibly, and ethically; (2) whether state election boards, departments, or commissions promulgate rules that are likely to guard elections against fraud; (3) whether state and local election officials monitor elections and actually enforce rules; and (4) whether state attorneys general and each state’s local prosecutors actually investigate potential crimes and criminally prosecute offenders.
It should be no surprise to learn that the issue of vote fraud is not taken very seriously in many states. If for no other reason than the fact that the more vote fraud that is discovered, the less faith voters will place in the legitimacy of elections, the officials of most states don’t work very hard to prove electoral fraud. Instead, in the United States, politicians of all stripes prefer to bury their heads in the sand and blindly declare, “Vote fraud is very rare.” American citizens have eyes and see such statements as self-serving lies told to protect the enduring power of the so-called “political establishment.”
Twelve states (California, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont) plus Washington, D.C., essentially allow people to vote at the polls without documentation. In addition, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming accept IDs without photos. Arizona and Montana provide alternatives to photo ID requirements. Voters in Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, and Washington primarily vote by mail. Most of the remaining states that require some kind of ID at the polls still provide other options, including the casting of provisional ballots, the attestation of a would-be voter’s eligibility by another registered voter with ID, and the signing of affidavits declaring one’s eligibility. In other words, most states run a Frankensteinian hodgepodge of the “honor system,” “pinky swears,” and “bro hugs.”
In the 2024 presidential election, Kamala Harris won nineteen states plus D.C. Of those twenty jurisdictions, only two (New Hampshire and Rhode Island) require photo ID. There appears to be a curious correlation between Democrat-controlled states that water down voter identification requirements and subsequent Democrat victories. Could that be why Coons, former Democrat president Barack Obama, former Washington governor Jay Inslee (who recently declared on social media that Democrats absolutely “must” find a way to prohibit ICE agents from being near polling places), and almost every other Democrat politician across the country are working so hard to make it easy for foreigners to vote in our elections?
A reasonable person could conclude that certain states intentionally look the other way in order to facilitate electoral fraud. In legal circles, that’s known as conspiracy to commit fraud.
There was a time when even Democrat minority leader Senator Chuck Schumer vocally advocated for identification requirements to prevent illegal aliens from committing fraud. Social media wizard “Western Lensman” tracked down C-SPAN video of Schumer from 1996, in which the Democrat argues before Congress that a “bona fide person” should have a driver’s license and a Social Security card. Today, however, Democrat Schumer claims that voter ID laws are “racist” and even compares them to Democrats’ discriminatory Jim Crow laws from early last century. Why has the Senate’s Democrat minority leader changed his mind about requiring driver’s licenses or Social Security cards to prevent non-citizens from committing fraud? Could it be that the Democrat party depends upon fraud to win elections?
Democrats keep telling Americans that vote fraud doesn’t exist. Yet Democrat-run states continue to fight tooth and nail to prevent the Trump administration from inspecting voter rolls and Medicaid records. Democrat-run states — such as Minnesota — go out of their way to prevent the Trump administration from arresting and deporting violent foreign criminals. Democrat-run states would rather aid and abet illegal aliens who commit crimes, provide them “free” welfare assistance, and look the other way should those foreign nationals decide to vote in state and federal elections. A reasonable American might conclude that Democrat officials operate a criminal quid pro quo operation that uses taxpayer dollars to pay illegal aliens to vote for Democrats.
Ninety-five percent of Republicans, seventy-one percent of Democrats, and eighty-three percent of the American public support photo ID requirements in American elections. As one social media guru recently observed, “if we can’t get a bill passed that 80% of Americans support, we have no representative government or democracy.”
Over at The Federalist, election law attorney Madeline Malisa writes, “If Democrats really believed self-rule is sacred, then they would do everything possible to protect it from being tainted by fraud and secure elections beyond a reasonable doubt. However, the reality is that when Democrats say ‘our democracy,’ they mean ‘our power.’ And secure elections certainly do jeopardize the Democrats’ power.”
In other words, if the United States were to have secure, legitimate elections, the Democrat party would never control Congress or the White House again. Democrat victory depends on both a steady supply of illegal aliens willing to vote fraudulently and a corrupt coalition of Democrat-run states whose Democrat officials are willing to aid and abet such illegal alien electoral fraud. Every illegal vote cancels an American citizen’s vote. As always, Democrats put foreigners first and Americans last.
