Zelenskyy to bring von der Leyen to Trump meeting in Washington

 

Ursula von der Leyen will accompany Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Washington tomorrow.

The European Commission President has just tweeted saying the Ukrainian president requested she join for the Trump meeting.

She also said other European leaders would be joining, but has not yet given any details on who they will be.

Zelenskyy will be meeting von der Leyen in Brussels later, before they head to the US.
