WASHINGTON, D.C. — As part of his comprehensive overhaul of America's national museums, President Donald Trump ordered the Smithsonian to display an exhibit of the now-defunct Cracker Barrel logo.

Trump vowed that the beloved piece of American history would be immortalized for all time.

"We must never forget this beautiful American logo," Trump said to cheers from his supporters. "With a strong and terrific country gentleman in a rocking chair, leaning on a big, tremendous barrel. Everyone loved it, and the woke Democrats took it away from us. But we're going to bring it back. We're gonna put it in our museum and everyone will love it. The wokes can't stop us. We're gonna put that logo up next to the American flag. It will be incredible."

The new exhibit, in addition to featuring the traditional logo, will include walls covered with American antiques and vintage advertisements centered around a roaring fireplace, hearkening back to the golden age of mid-century America. It will also feature a giant picture of Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Felss Masino for museum guests to throw darts at.

"We're gonna bring them all back into our museum," Trump said. "Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben, Speedee, the McDonald's character with a cheeseburger for a head. They'll all be here."

At publishing time, leftist protestors had gathered to demand a plaque be added to the exhibit telling the story of how the white guy from the Cracker Barrel logo was probably a slave owner.
