Some Politicians Are Truly Gross

Let’s be honest, all politicians have the capacity to be really gross people. There is seemingly nothing they will not exploit to advance their own careers. For many, human decency was either sold out or never existed in them to begin with. Can’t we do better than people who exploit tragedy to get ahead?

Former Member of Congress David Trone, one of the wealthiest people to have served in Congress and someone who fought hard to force you to pay for his pet causes when could have simply cut a check himself, used the death of his nephew from a drug overdose in campaign ads repeatedly. Claiming it was why he cared so much about the issue, Tronerepeatedly ran ads citing the death of the24-year-old.

Imagine that call with your sibling, how the hell does anyone do that? “Hey, remember that worst day of your life a few years ago? I’m going to use my fortune to run ads re-opening that old wound non-stop. You cool with that?”

Maybe he didn’t even make the call.

I live in the district that creep, who also ran a pro-abortion ad featuring his two young daughters, represented and I can tell you he ran both those ads constantly, as he has more money than sense. I can’t imagine his daughters appreciated being props for commercials about the potential consequences of their future sex lives.

But Trone isn’t alone.

Another scumbag is Adam Schiff. California is so devoid of decent human beings to run for office that they elevated that piece of crap to the United States Senate.

Schiff used his daughter Lexi’s name regularly to raise money. She’s an adult, but it’s still exploitative. “I know my dad would be the first to tell you that none of this would have been possible without your support. Let’s fill his card with as many signatures as possible to show him that this incredible community has his back and is as proud of him as I am! Thank you! Lexi.”

To “sign” the card you have to give money, or at least spend time navigating around it.

Schiff won in a walk, as California is full of brain damaged, lead paint eaters, so he has no real need for campaign contributions – once he won the primary, he’s set until he enters Hell or California finally falls into the ocean, whichever comes first. But that doesn’t stop him from raising it. Maybe he pays his kids like corrupt moron Maxine Waters does, or maybe he just uses them? Maybe he wants to money to buy influence with other Democrats, or maybe he wants to subsidize his life by covering the cost of meals, travel and other living expenses he can claim are “campaign related”?

Whatever the case, he’s gross.

Then there is Evelyn Andrews. She’s some kind of doctor and also a candidate for Senate in South Carolina. She has an 8-year-old daughter she puts in political videos, painfully reading a script it’s obvious her mother wrote for her (so gross). And sending out emails “signed” by her daughter.

Running to unseat Lindsey Graham, Andrews used her daughter’s name and a picture of her to send an email reading, “Heyyy Friends, it’s Evelyn Andrews!   You don’t know me but you know my mom, Dr. Annie Andrews! I don’t have a phone and I’m only 8. But I told my mom I needed hers so I could talk to you.  She can get kind of cranky when she’s picking us up from school, taking super serious phone calls, working, and running an entire Senate campaign. So I’m helping her today!! Even I know the guy my mom is running against is the worst. How can someone that’s supposed to be helping people be hurting them instead?? That’s why my mom really needs your help.  As dedicated as she is, she can’t win this race alone. So can you please donate $5 (that's less than my allowance! :) ) to help my mom win and make South Carolina better for kids like me?

It was partnered with the vile activist group 314 Action Fund, who apparently has no issue with exploiting an 8-year-old if they get a piece of the action, Andrews has zero shame.

Are there no decent people with a conscience out there on the left anymore? Considering the rate at which they’d like to mutilate children’s bodies, I think the answer is a clear no.
