The History of the Papal Zouaves and the 9th Crusade

The violent fall of the Papal States and the unification of Italy is a much overlooked period of history. Even more overlooked are the brave Papal Soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the Church. The following video will give a summarized history of the Papal Zouaves, by the end of it you will have a general understanding of the unit and the history of the 9th Crusade.
