Yesterday began a new feature at WWWP-Lives; 

the W³P Daily News Open Thread.

Community Members and really any Disqus user can post whatever breaking news stories or any information they feel might be of interest to the community on this thread. 

W³P has never had an “OFF TOPIC” rule, so really any comment thread is an open thread, and even this Daily News Open Thread will be open to any comment, be it memes, music, or just greeting other community members. 

But we wanted to have a place where people could look to find the odd comments of quickly breaking news happening during the day that doesn’t make it into an OP of its own right away. 

Really we don’t have a dedicated breaking news reporter, so we’re just gonna make you guys do it. 

This feature will post every day at 6:30am Mountain Time. 

I plan to show up most mornings sometime after that to send mass-tag invites, but I’m not very reliable. If I was I’d be a breaking news reporter.
