The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky could meet Papa Francesco
in the next days. The confirmation comes from Vatican circles who
confirmed the hypothesis circulated in the late afternoon today, with
respect to which the face-to-face could already take place next
Saturday. Oltretevere confirm that it is now a matter of days and
therefore everything suggests that the occasion should be represented by
the tour to the main European chancelleries, which the Ukrainian
president is preparing to carry out, due to the fact that Zelensky is
also expected to meet the premier in Rome Giorgia Meloni. But if the hypothesis does not come true this weekend, it would still come true in a very short time.
The Ukrainian head of state has been in Helsinki, Finland, and The
Hague, the Netherlands in recent days and will be in Berlin over the
weekend, as previously announced by the German media, to meet with
Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank -Walter Steinmeier. The Roman
stage would also fall within this context.
