Is there a real evil agenda behind all the controversy with Great American Family?
Good family films that don't have woke themes to them. Who would've thunk that in the year 2022, such an idea would sound like 1 of the most evil things you could possibly say or think of.
That's what Great American Family is known for now. Wanting to be the network that doesn't bow down to the woke mob and force feed wokeness in every film that make. In other words, trying to be the kind of network Hallmark was just 3 years ago.
It shouldn't sound like such an evil idea, it should instead be a unifying idea! Most families just want to watch a peaceful movie on a good network without fear of leftist politics ruining everything, or having to explain to their kids why a man is 'in love' with another man! But when you're dealing with an industry that is as polluted in alternative and unholy lifestyles as it gets, you get these loser mobs that want any bit of competition taken out at any cost.
A simple cable network that just wants to air peaceful, and at times faith based content. Yeah, just a simple prospect like that can cause a lot of ruckus throughout social media by a-holes who never even watch the network but would rather see literally ANY bit of unwoke content cancelled because well, that's what they're brainwashed to think by their masters!
Up until a few weeks ago, this peaceful network was just casually airing new movies week after week like it's competition. Until 1 interview with the WSJ and the toxicity of social media thrust it into the spotlight in the way of 'Stomp on conservativism at all costs' . Was it any coincidence though, that all this madness started a week before the network's 1st big faith based masterpiece 'A Christmas Present' was set to air?
This network is outright challenging the mobs when it comes to quality movie making! So, maybe it shouldn't be much of a surprise that there is so much smearing of anyone who wants to work with the network?!
Making good family films shouldn't be so divisive. There seriously used to be a time when Hallmark, Lifetime, UP TV, and others would compete with each other to see who could have the best holiday flicks. Of course, this was back when it was 100% likely that neither film would be dirty. Hallmark has been going off the rails each year since 2020, Lifetime started inserting their own dirtiness back in 2017, UP TV is still clean (with a couple of very small slip ups recently though), Guess you can say that leaves GAF as the lone winner in cleanness.
Just an example of how bad Hallmark has been in the last couple of months: Not 1 of their movies has mentioned God, or Jesus, and is basically taken the name Christ out of Christmas (not even their popular flick '3 wise men and a baby' mentioned God in a nice or respectful way), and also, there's been a larger then usual increase in using 'Christmas magic' in many of their movies. I'm a fan of 'Christmas magic' like everyone else, except the ways Hallmark has been using it this year to my knowledge sounds not only real creepy, but might also suggest that the network may be okaying witchcraft. (and yes, out of so many new movies, there's only 1 scheduled faith based movie on the docket for this month! Just 1. And it's on their 2nd channel.)
Great American Family was important last year, and is more important this year then ever before. Because without it, what's there to stop Hallmark from being the only mainstream network that everyone goes to for what is supposed to be family friendly flicks, and from also being a cleaner alternative to whatever messiness Hallmark is choosing to engage in?
Is there an actual evil agenda with the anti gay/evil facist/Every other beyond overrused word the Left slings at everyone they hate controversy that has come to GAF? My guess is, based on the mere evidence that this network is in direct competition with Hallmark for the best quality in films, the answer is without a doubt 'Yes'.
Because after all, all the Left can think of to attack their competition is to have their media sources come up with junk and use that junk throughout social media to smear actors and the network's CEO in brazen attempts to get them to crack and bail on the network with some pathetic excuse.
I doubt we've honestly seen the end of the kind of smearing that we saw a few weeks ago with Candace. If they can smear 1 important actor, what's there to say that all the others won't suddenly become targets simply because they want to work with the network?
Pray for this network's continued success in 2023. Pray that it and every other actor that chooses to work with it can stand up for themselves and stand tall with their Christian religious beliefs. Pray that more Hallmark actors finally choose to jump ship to better waters. And especially pray for those that run the network.
This is 1 very important network, and it needs all the support it can get.
