Very long list of Season 14 wishes for NCIS LA

 

What am I really thinking making this kind of list after such a hellish Season? Could be a few things: 1, I'm the most naive fan alive. 2, I just want to talk. Or 3, Despite all my bitterness, I actually want to see this show try to improve. Or all 3 of these. Take your pick.

Well anyways, here's my super long list of wishes for Season 14 that I have no idea will happen, but I want to happen because I want to enjoy my favorite show again, damn it!

1, Give Hetty the respect that she, so rightfully, deserves!!!!!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 No more of these stupid Season long missions that will never be really explained!!

2, Restore Hetty and Callen's relationship!!! We all know that what has happened the last 2 Seasons is utter nonsense! End all of that and have them talking again!!

3, If Hetty must be saved by her team again, please make it be an emotional reunion. And for sanity reasons, don't make it all bloody and gory, and don't have Frank Military write it!!

4, Have Hetty be a bigger presence again. Look, there's an awful lot that needs to be done to have me trust these BTS dummies again, but a big step that can be taken to at least try to improve, would be having her actually be a bigger presence again. I'm not talking 1 or 2 episodes at a time and then complete silence for 6 or 7 episodes, I'm talking more then that! No one likes an old fart being in charge that coddles 2 diversity tokens and barks at everyone else.

5, Much, much, much better writing!!!!!!!! 🙌 (or better yet, hire people who actually want to respect the team and write a good episode instead of, well you know.)

6, No more Hetty smearing!!! What I've seen the past 2 years is beyond pathetic! Every true fan of this show knows she would never hurt Callen the way that all this retconned garbage is making it look like!!

7, Quit changing everyone's history! There are a lot of fans who know everyone's history quite well, and can certainly tell when something looks different, so we're not completely dumb when something changes in someone's story!

8, Quit playing deception games with the Hetty fans!

9, Make better cases with actual higher stakes instead of these overly political, lousy low stakes cases!

10, Put Linda's name back with the other Series Regulars after the opening credits!!

11, Enough with the very long arcs that take 2 Seasons to resolve!

12, Stop making the veteran agents look like fools just to prop up the 2 dumb diversity tokens!!

13, Restore the old opening theme music! There was literal no reason to change the old music to this chopped up version!!

14, A Christmas episode. Hetty must be in it, it can't be completely dumb, and Hetty and Callen must be back on good terms by then!

15, Episode promos that don't look totally cheap and generic. (though, with how cheap this network has gotten with every show now, that's probably too tall of a wish)

16, Less time on the token diversity picks, or you know, find someway to make them actually look smart without dumbing them down. (or just get rid of them altogether.)

17, Better press releases that don't sound dumb.

18, If Dani wants to direct again, please give her a well written episode! Mainly one with Hetty in it! Or better yet, have her direct a Hetty centric episode!!

19, If Eric wants to write again, please please have it be something really powerful and non political, like maybe another Hetty centric episode!

20, Please show Callen getting married, and emotional scenes with Hetty must be included as well.

21, Have Kensi and Deeks look like an actual romantic couple again.
