Obama Brags About Obama, Claims He Forced Europe to Stand up to Russian Invasion of Crimea

Ah, the “good” ol’ days. On Tuesday, Barack Obama was back in the White House for the first time since leaving office five years ago. Sucking the oxygen out of the room as he always has, effortlessly humiliating his former vice president, who was reduced to mumbling and aimlessly wandering about, as O reveled in the limelight.

And Barack Obama being Barack Obama, the former president took advantage of his temporary return to the stage by engaging in his favorite pastime: bragging about Barack Obama.

After all, we’re talking about a narcissist who, while president, was incapable of observing a holiday or significant national anniversary — from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the death of astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon — without including an image of… Barack Obama.

In a Wednesday interview with The Atlantic Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg, in reference to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Obama referenced Russia’s 2014 invasion of Crimea, describing, in classic Obamaesque braggadocio, how he often had to force European countries into proportionately responding to Russian aggression, as reported by Fox News.

As somebody who grappled with the incursion into Crimea and the Eastern portions of Ukraine, I have been encouraged by the European reaction. Because in 2014, I often had to drag them kicking and screaming to respond in ways we would have wanted to see.

Uh-huh, sure he did.

Same guy, by the way, who in 2012 ridiculously drew a “red line” in the Middle East, vowing that the use of chemical weapons by Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad would be a “game-changer.” Sure it was. Bottom line: Al-Assad proceeded to use chemical weapons against his own people, killing an estimated 1,500 men, women, and children. And Barack “Red Line” Obama? He folded up like a cheap suit.

Even worse, as noted by Fox, Obama also in 2012 infamously ridiculed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney (oh, hell — here come the random Romney blasts) for identifying Russia as America’s “number one geopolitical foe” — a valid claim in 2012.  During a presidential debate, Chicago Jesus Obama smirked:

A few months ago when you were asked what’s the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not al Qaeda. The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because the Cold War’s been over for 20 years.

So please, O — spare us the revisionist Obama history.

But by all means, please continue humiliating the hell out of your old sidekick. Dude, that was awesome.
