WATCH: The Moment That Kids in Las Vegas Hear They No Longer Have to Wear Masks Is Total Euphoria

Duke reporting for RedState

I have to start right at the beginning of this post to let you know that if you are here looking to hear about that sleazy show “Euphoria,” you are going to have to move along. This type of euphoria is all about kids being told that it is okay to go be kids again.

So, now that we have that covered, we can move on.

Now that the political science seems to be changing on a whole host of things in regards to the ‘VID and its semi-helpful, possible therapeutics parading as a cure, we can now talk about masks.

You may recall that the face of the ‘VID at the beginning of this, Mr. Science himself, Tony Fauci, once said that the masks were NOT needed while they lied about that, while getting masks for healthcare workers, when there was a run on those like toilet paper back in early 2020. Then it was: we needed masks to survive and now, just in the past couple of months, we hear that the regular cloth masks are not the best, but we need the N95 ones.

Whew.

Well, now that the midterm elections are just nine months away, all of a sudden those states that still had some hesitation of mask mandates are seeing the light of breathing free, and Nevada is one of those states. Watch what happened below, when a group of youngins was informed that it was their last full day of wearing the face diaper.

When the history of this is all written, we might look back and remember the debacle of ‘the Governor who never was’ in Georgia, Stacey Abrams, who might have put the death nail in the mask being required when she took a photo in a room full of kids that were masked, but her grin needed to be seen for the camera.

Here, my colleague Sister Toldjah wrote about this earlier this week  Analysis: Stacey Abrams Took off Her Mask in More Ways Than One in Georgia

For starters, in Abrams’ interview Tuesday with CNN “OutFront” anchor Erin Burnett, the failed 2018 Democratic gubernatorial nominee made a major false claim.

“In the excitement after I finished, because it was so much fun working with those kids, I took a picture. And that was a mistake.” She went on to say that “Protocols matter, and protecting our kids is the most important thing. And anything perceived as undermining that is a mistake, and I apologize.”

So even in apologizing for getting caught operating based on the “rules for thee and not for me” approach Democrats have been taking for two years on CDC guidelines and government mandates regarding the coronavirus pandemic, she lied.

The Democrats have just way overplayed their hands, and people are fed up. As we have seen in Canada, the pushback is real.

When even ‘VID lockdown queen in Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, decides to roll over and play dead on forcing people to wear masks in public, you know the jig is up. As I wrote here yesterday, she is NOW telling her ideological bunkmate in Canada to get the trucker issue settled with the ‘VID and all things associated with it. Gretchen Whitmer Hits the Panic Button Over the Canadian Trucker Bridge Shutdowns

So I have been on the horn with our Canadian ambassador, with the White House and our congressional delegation with some of the Premiers in Canada. I mean, I am imploring them to get this resolved. I don’t think people appreciated what an immediate economic impact this would have on Michigan, quite frankly, and so, they understand now, and now they go to resolve it.

So I’m encouraging the White House to work with the Canadian government. Whatever it takes, they can have their conversations, but they gotta stop the blockade. Because there are hardworking men and women in an industry that is just getting back to full strength, who are now going to be outta a job at least temporarily, and are going to need unemployment.

It is going to have a massive impact on all of us in Michigan. They need to understand, they do now and they need to resolve this. They need to get the blockade released, so that commerce can flow again.

So damn adorable, our Gretch.

I’m glad that these kids and others are now able to breathe without restrictions from government bureaucrats who seem to make it up as they go along. Enough is enough, and it is time to move on.

Thank God.
