Tucker Carlson: Neocon Karen Liz Cheney Isn’t Just A Liar, She’s Also A Coward
Tucker Carlson called Liz Cheney a “coward” after she declined to come on his show to discuss her criticism of his forthcoming documentary, “Patriot Purge.”
During his show on Thursday, Carlson responded to Cheney’s tweet, which said the documentary “spread the same type of lies that provoked violence on January 6.” The show had invited Cheney on to discuss her comments.
“Sniping over social media can be amusing, but it is not really the way adults communicate with each other,” Carlson said. “So we called Liz Cheney’s office this morning to invite her on the show, but she emphatically refused to come. It turns out that Liz Cheney is not simply a liar, she is also a coward. It is not really surprising. Neocons typically are cowards.”
Carlson aired a trailer for the three-part series about Jan. 6 during his show on Wednesday, saying it tells “the true story behind the War on Terror 2.0 and the plot against the people.” The Fox News host said the documentary will “answer a lot of the remaining questions from that day” as he spoke to “dozens directly involved” and “screened hundreds of hours of relevant video tape.”
“Keep in mind Cheney has not even seen the film that she is so angry about. Just the trailer, one minute and forty-two seconds pulled from three full episodes,” Carlson said of Cheney, the vice-chair of the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot. “Liz Cheney is not waiting for the facts here. She knows for certain that we have weapons of mass destruction and she plans to invade.”
Carlson noted that Democrats believe burning down cities is a civil rights protest, shooting down an unarmed Trump supporter is “an act of courage,” but objecting to racist propaganda being pushed on kids in school is terrorism. All of this, Carlson said, has also become Cheney’s stance.
“According to Liz Cheney, this show is dangerous because we dare to report on what actually happened on Jan. 6. The show is somehow, she said, abetting violence,” Carlson said. “Now if that violence seems familiar, there is a reason that it does. That argument is a staple of those purple-haired college activists you see yelling at people in viral videos.”
