Herd immunity Goalposts

 

For a long time, various scientists have told us that 70% vaccination would start 'Herd Immunity'. But now our administration is suggesting that we require 95-98% vaccinations in order to reach the Herd Immunity goal. What changed?

The Democrats are enforcing Vaccine mandates on all Government employees, military, first responders and schools. They are insisting that private businesses terminate even their best employees who refuse to get the vaccine. What changed?

Not the science, the message.

The first hint is BLMs uproar about required 'Vaccination Cards' which they claim are being used in New York to keep Black Americans out of restaurants, The second hint is from a blog I read on Fox News stating that "90% of African Americans are vaccinated and the lowest vaccine numbers are amongst Republicans, more specifically MAGA."

I was curious as to why after President Trump was responsible for 'Operation Warp Speed' that MAGA and Republicans were suffering from vaccine hesitancy. So I did my own research. What I found explained everything.

BLM was playing the 'Race Card' to avoid the issue and the blogger I read was lying.

CDC records show that White American vaccination numbers is 69%, only 1% away from herd immunity. Hispanic American citizens are at 48% immunity. Black Americans are at 30%. We have no numbers on Illegal Aliens.

Admitting that minorities are the ones primarily suffering from vaccine hesitation can be explained for a number of reasons. But the Democratic Party cannot, under any circumstances, blame minorities for anything without attacking their base. So...

Increase the mandates and force everyone, mainly the small percentage of White America to get the vaccine in order to drag the overall number over 70%. That way they can ignore the migrants and minority numbers.

This of course is unscientific and will not work. The mandates will most likely get White America over the required percentage to achieve herd immunity. But until the administration confronts minorities with their low turn-out numbers, well, Covid is spreading like wild-fire in Urban Communities.

Finally to any who believe that Republicans or MAGA is responsible I ask one question Did you have to inform anyone what your party affiliation was when you got your shot?
