Then Stop Using Palestinian Lives as Human Shields

Palestinian Lives Matter will come as a shock to Hamas.

Ilhan Omar (D-Hamas) tweeted out this laughably disingenuous message the other day:

If Ilhan believes Palestinian lives matter, then perhaps she should “pass it on” to her pals and tell them to stop using Palestinian lives as human shields.

Israel isn’t putting the lives of Palestinians in jeopardy; Hamas is.

Israel doesn’t place rockets and weapons stores near schools and hospitals; Hamas does.

When you make people your human shields, you don’t give a rip about their lives.

The lives of Human Shields don’t matter.

The deaths of human shields, on the other hand …

Hamas doesn’t care about Palestinians. In fact, sacrificing Palestinian lives is a feature, not a bug.

But not just Palestinian lives. Everybody’s lives are expendable to this bloodthirsty group.

Hamas doesn’t place their operations in a building housing news organizations because it’s rent-controlled for crap’s sake.

But, see, Ilhan doesn’t care about the lives of Palestinians in Gaza. Not really. Their lives are expendable so long as their deaths can be used to further the goal of wiping Israel off the face of the planet.

Ilhan isn’t tweeting that out of a genuine concern or love for the people of Gaza. The goal here is to conflate the “Palestinian struggle” with the American Marxist Identarian Movement “Black Lives Matter.” What better way to get suburban wine moms with the BLM lawn sign to gullibly join your cause of wiping Israel off the face of the planet than by hoodwinking them the same way you hoodwinked them to embrace a radical Marxist movement hell-bent on destroying their way of life?

This isn’t a message of love; it’s information warfare designed to sway gullible Westerners.

Meanwhile, in order to preserve Palestinian lives, the IDF notifies civilians in advance to make sure they clear out of the area before an airstrike.

Listen to this recording of a phone call between IDF and a Gaza resident. Which side puts value on Palestinian lives?

Nothing says “Palestinian Lives Matter” quite like saying “If the children need to die, then they’ll die.”

By all means, Ilhan, “Pass it on.”

But maybe start by passing it on to your buddies in Hamas.

Then again, Ilhan doesn’t care about Palestinian lives any more than Hamas does.
