The Whole World is Watching
During the 1968 Democrat National Convention in Chicago, the anti-war demonstrators facing off with Chicago Police began chanting “The whole world is watching! The whole world is watching!”
And the whole world was watching.
In fact, the whole world is still watching what goes on in America.
America’s allies and, worse, America’s enemies watch everything that goes on here.
On March 17, 2020, I wrote a column titled “China exploits our PC culture to spread disinformation” in which I wrote:
You think America’s enemies are unaware of our weaknesses?
They know exactly where we’re weak.
And the West’s knee-jerk PC culture is one of our greatest weaknesses.
It isn’t at all surprising that the Chicoms are exploiting it both to absolve themselves of culpability and to paint themselves as victims of “racism” and “xenophobia.”
It was true at the start of the Wuhan Pandemic. And it is doubly true today.
We have an administration that is tying itself into knots over non-sensical PC garbage. And the whole world is watching.
We have a Pentagon virtue-signaling on Twitter while posting clap-back videos directed at a cable news host. And the whole world is watching.
We have a President
who, during the campaign repeatedly fell to his knees in deference to Black Lives Matter. And the whole world is watching.
We have a media that frames any reference to the Communist Chinese government’s involvement in unleashing a worldwide pandemic as “xenophobia” and “racism.” Even the White House press secretary blames the previous President for unleashing “Asian hate crimes” simply by uttering the phrase “China Virus.”
And the whole world is watching.
The Biden Administration as a whole has embraced the fact-deprived “1619 Project” and America’s collective guilt and sin, and governs accordingly.
According to Politico, Biden’s Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is “racing to address a 232-year-old problem: the overwhelming and entrenched whiteness of the nation’s oldest government agency.” And America’s enemies are watching.
Here we thought Obama bowing to the Saudi King was the low point in US Foreign Policy.
From the White House to the State Department to the US Military, America’s PC culture is spreading like a virus throughout the current Administration.
And the whole damn world is watching.
Political correctness, collective racial guilt, critical race theory – the entire hodgepodge of self-flagellating PC nonsense has become the driving force behind everything this foolish, short-sighted Administration is doing.
So are you at all surprised that in just one day both Russia and China exploited this weakness?
After Joe Biden feigned tough talk against Russia’s Vladimir Putin, Putin, like China in the early days of the pandemic, exploited the collective guilt zeitgeist gripping America’s ruling class.
In his response to Biden calling him a killer, Putin said:
”We always project on others what we are ourselves. US is rooted in genocide against Native Americans and in slavery. That legacy continues, that’s why there’s BLM today. Oh, and US is only country that used nuclear bombs. And I’m the killer?”
What does it say about the state of the Union when the talking points used by America’s enemies mirror those we hear in the American news media and the Biden Administration itself?
The whole damn world is watching America’s politically correct struggle session and is champing at the bit to exploit it.
We are governed by fools.
Then last night Secretary Blinken and his delegation met with the ChiComs in Alaska, and the ChiComs lit into the Americans over, guess what:
“America is back!” The Biden Administration repeatedly brags.
Turns out what they meant to say was “America is on its back!”
We’ve rolled over.
Did this Administration actually think the world wouldn’t notice them kvetching and hand-wringing over collective racial guilt and political correct victimhood culture?
Did the Pentagon think that their petulant, girlish rush to Twitter to “clap-back” at a cable news host would go unnoticed by our enemies?
We are not projecting strength on the world stage.
We’re projecting weakness.
Yes, the Chinese are playing for keeps, while the Biden Administration is busy trying to accommodate boys who think they’re girls.
It would be laughable if it wasn’t so deadly dangerous.
Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Austin took time away from rooting out soldiers with Gadsden flags and MAGA hats to let North Korea know “the US is ready to fight tonight.”
I don’t think America’s enemies are shaking in their boots. Instead, like the rest of the world, they are watching the Biden Administration’s handwringing, virtue-signaling and PC silliness with eager delight.
And you think they don’t notice that the Commander-in-Chief has soup for brains?
You think they didn’t see our so-called President refer to Kamala Harris as “President Harris?”
Sure, the American news media is doing its damnedest to downplay Joe Biden’s rapidly deteriorating mental condition, but our enemies see it. The whole world sees it.
We’re screwed you guys.
We are royally screwed.
And the whole world is watching it unfold in real time, and responding accordingly.
