Unify the Nation … by Vilifying Half the Country

They don’t hesitate to call us trash, dregs, deplorable. Does anyone believe that people who think like that will “unify the nation?”

I’m sure you’ve seen the video clip of Benghazi Susan Rice saying this election is about putting Trump and his supporters in the Senate on the trash heap of history.  It’s par for the course that Democrats say such despicable things about their political opponents.  But what struck me about Benghazi Susan’s statement was her claim that getting Joe Biden in the White House will “heal and unify the nation.”

That’s the part of this brief MSNBC clip that had me chuckling.

How precisely does a Democrat candidate unify the nation when he and the rest of the Democrat Party can’t stop insulting and vilifying half the country?

Just two weeks ago, this man who allegedly can unify the nation wrote off ten to fifteen percent of the nation as “just not very good people.”

I’m sure included in that ten to fifteen percent are the black voters who don’t plan to vote for Joe, since, as he assured us, if you can’t decide between Trump or him, “you ain’t black.”

Let’s not forget how, in 2018, Mr. Unify the Nation referred to Americans who support President Trump as the “dregs of society.”

And we’re supposed to believe this hateful old man will “heal and unify the nation?”

Sure, Susan.

I believe that about as much as I believed what you said on those Sunday shows back in September 2012.

When Benghazi Susan talks about unifying the nation, she doesn’t mean by bringing all Americans together.

What she means is getting rid of the trash that prevents the nation to being one gigantic college campus run by angry Leftists who destroy everything and everyone that stands in their way.

It isn’t so much that a Biden Presidency would “heal and unify the nation” as it is a Biden Presidency would further purge from civic life all those with whom these Leftists demagogues disagree.

Sure, Benghazi Susan said “and his supporters in the Senate.”  But if you watch the video, you can hear that brief pause after “and his supporters” as if Susan realized she said too much and needed to dial it back by limiting it to supporters “in the Senate.”

But she doesn’t just mean supporters in the Senate, does she? She means all of us who don’t march in lockstep with her and her Leftist compatriots.

They hate us. You’d have to have been in a coma for the last four years not to realize that.

What do you do with the people you deem “not very good people” and “the dregs of society?”

You think the Democrat shock troops marauding through cities purging statues wouldn’t love to purge us as well?

Come on.  You know they would.

You only need to watch any of the countless videos of Trump supporters getting chased down and beaten in the streets to know they wouldn’t hesitate to turn their attention from statues to people.

That’s the benefit of dehumanizing your enemies; they are much easier to abuse and destroy when you don’t see them as fellow human beings worthy of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Plus, since you’ve been spending all this time terrorizing and intimidatingeveryone, the folks who might consider objecting to this dehumanization are now too afraid to speak out against it.

And make no mistake about it, the Democrat Party and their radical Left military arm view us, not as “political opponents,” but as their enemies.  They will unify the nation only by purging us from it; there will be no quarter given.

When you view your political opponents, not just as the enemy, but as some kind of disease, the only way to “heal the nation” is to eradicate them.

They want you dead, but they’ll settle for silencing you.  And they’re getting a lot of help in that regard – from tech companies, the media, and every other institution that embraces ideological bigotry and the garbage “cancel culture.”

As Kurt Schlichter said in a column last week, “The left is seeking to define the scope of acceptable thought, and they do it by marginalizing the mainstream and mainstreaming the marginal.”

This is how Joe Biden will “heal and unify the nation” – not by bringing us together, but by separating those who stand in the Left’s way.

Why do you think they are so hell-bent on preventing President Trump’s rally tonight?

It isn’t because of the Wuhan virus.

It’s because they want you to feel as if you are alone.  They want you marginalized.  And seeing a massive crowd coming together for a Trump rally cuts into the narrative.

These guys learned nothing from 2016.

Not one thing.

If you recall, Hillary tried to sell herself as our “champion;” she didn’t want to be President of some Americans, she claimed, but all Americans.  She claimed she would, to coin a phrase, unify the nation … by accusing half of us of being “deplorable,” “irredeemable” and not American.

This so-called “champion” called us racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, homophobic, and she did it for a laugh – without a single thought of how Americans might feel at being labeled in such a hideous way by someone who wanted to be our President.

And here we are again.  Vilified, insulted, marginalized, and silenced by a party that claims it will “heal and unify the nation” if only Joe Biden becomes President.

Only this time, they’re not saying it for a laugh.

Does anyone actually believe that the Democrat party that stands aside and lets their cities burn to the ground will instantly transform into a healing, unifying force if Joe Biden is elected?

If you believe that, you probably believe that Benghazi was the fault of an obscure YouTube video.
