Will anyone call them terrorists?

Peacefully protesting Governor Whitmer: “Terrorists!”
Rioting, looting, and burning in Minneapolis: “Protesters.”

Say, remember when protesters descended on Lansing, Michigan to protest Governor Whitmer’s draconian, capricious lockdown orders?  They attacked nobody. They looted nothing. They set fire to not one single thing.  And yet they were called terrorists.

Failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton accused them of “domestic terrorism” for daring to show up to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

Again, they attacked nobody, looted nothing, burned not one thing.  But these Americans exercising their First Amendment right to peaceably assemble were domestic terrorists in the eyes of Hillary Clinton.

To be fair, Clinton wasn’t the only one accusing them of terrorism. A hell of a lot of people in the news media and blue checkmark Twitter idiots did as well.

The always stupid Joy Behar also accused these guys of terrorism.

As did a guy named Charles who pretends he’s a girl named Charlotte.  I’m thinking a guy who calls himself a girl probably isn’t the best judge of what to call protesters.

Minneapolis is on fire right now.  Businesses are being looted.  People are being shot; buildings are ablaze.

Yet according to the news media, the rioters setting Minneapolis ablaze are merely “protesters.”

As Jesse Kelly always says, “None of what you see is real.”

Words no longer have meaning.

When you toss a word like “terrorist” at people who are doing nothing but protesting Governor Whitmer, but call those rioting in the streets, assaulting people, setting businesses ablaze and looting stores “protesters,” words are meaningless.

You won’t hear a single person who last month claimed that we have no rights during a pandemic say the same thing to those rioting in Minneapolis.

There will be no “well-I-nevering” from on-air personalities at CNN or MSNBC over the rioters in Minneapolis.  None of them will be clutching pearls and bemoaning the danger these violent rioters pose the way all of them did over the protesters in Michigan.

Not one of these on-air personalities, or Hillary Clinton, or the Leftist blue-checkmarks on Twitter will dare to call these rioters terrorists.

We will get none of the same histrionics we heard when Whitmer’s lockdown was protested.  None of it.

Instead, they will gleefully report the violent rioting with eager, breathless excitement.  Burning cities and looting make for terrific ratings after all.

Besides, this kind of destruction and violence suits their ends whereas people standing up to tin-pot tyranny does not.
