The Senate Speech Police
Of course it’s Kamala Harris’ idea to turn the World’s Greatest Deliberative Body into the Senate Speech Police; she is a cop after all.
Over thirty million Americans are out of work. Our entire economy shut down for more than two months. And Kamala Harris decided now’s a great time for Congress’ upper chamber to become the Senate Speech Police.
Harris, along with her fellow lightweight bigmouth pals Mazie Hirono and Elizabeth Warren, has introduced a bill deeming the terms “Wuhan Virus,” “Chinese Virus” and “Kung Flu” racist and condemning their use.
Of course it’s Kamala Harris’ idea to turn the World’s Greatest Deliberative Body into the Senate Speech Police; she is a cop after all.
Besides, Kamala is an expert at tackling the things that really matter to nineteen-year-old Gender Studies’ majors from Oberlin.
Now, I realize that Kamala isn’t exactly a big fan of the Bill of Rights, but doesn’t the United States Senate have more important things to do than parrot the propaganda from the Chinese Communist Party?
Can I just say Kamala isn’t just a lightweight, she’s a waste of skin.
Well, I think it’s safe to say that — at least until Kamala demands the Senate Speech Police ban it as somehow demeaning to any lightweight female Senator who couldn’t find her ass without a map, a pickaxe and a pith helmet.
The resolution is filled with all the sanctimonious schlock you’d expect from a nineteen-year-old Gender Studies major from Oberlin.
Harris cites the UN and the World Health Organization declaring “Wuhan Virus” and “Chinese Virus” racist. Because of course Kamala thinks we should set aside the First Amendment and defer to the UN and the WHO. She is Obama in a pantsuit after all.
Kamala justifies this Senate Speech Police Resolution by attempting to link the use of these so-called “racist” terms to incidents of “anti-Asian violence.”
Now, unless someone who harassed or attacked an Asian American came out and said, “I did this because back in February, CNN was calling it the Wuhan Virus,” I don’t know how this dizzy broad can make that claim. But there it is.
The Senate Speech Police Resolution also demands that the US recommits “to serving as a world leader in building more inclusive, diverse, and tolerant societies by prioritizing language access and inclusivity in communication practices.”
What in Lucifer’s reach is “language access?”
Good grief. What nonsense.
The Senate Democrats seem to forget that they are not an ivy league student government, but the upper chamber of the Legislative Branch of a Constitutional Republic. They are supposed to be doing stuff like ratifying treaties or confirming Presidential nominations. They aren’t supposed to be mapping out their “Spartacus moments” while helping to turn a confirmation hearing into a circus. And they sure as hell aren’t supposed to be policing the free speech of the American people.
Nobody has done more to downgrade and diminish what once was considered “The World’s Greatest Deliberative Body” than worthless, virtue-signaling, anti-Liberty cranks like Kamala Harris and the rest of this current crop of Senate Democrats.
We really need to make sure they do not get the majority in 2020.
