Isn't that what Democrats have been screaming for three years since President Trump was elected?

So why do they want to emmulate the Russian failed political systems?

Odd two years ago, California's majority party approved legislation to outlaw old laws on the books which prohibited Communists from holding public office in government and to get jobs.

So after this new legislation passed, how has California done? 

Well property values skyrocketed, the rich got richer, the poor population swelled and small businesses died and the middle class shrank.

California today is for the very rich and the very poor, the middle class has been taxed almost out of existence.

Anyone remember what the great Soviet Union was like? 

The very rich were party members in power. The very poor were the rest. There was no middle class, no private property and no small businesses owned by the people.

Hmm.......

California is the new face of the Democratic party, Gavin Newsom says that America should emmulate California, Michael Bloomsberg and Tom Steyer say the same thing.

California has been controlled by Democrats for 42 years, the last time the majority of Californians voted for a Republican president was in 1988, 32 years ago.

In 2016 California cast 8.8 million (61.5%) votes for Hillary Clinton, 4.5 million (31.5%) for Donald Trump and .95 (7%) million for anyone else. A total of 14.3 million votes for President. 

California also has the highest population of illegal immigrants, an estimated 12 million. California issues driver license to illegals, allows them to vote in local elections and they support the Motor Voter Law which allows driver license holders to register to vote. Hm..... So how many of those 12 million are old enough to vote and vote Democrat?

Let's assume 50% of those 12 million were 18 or older, now, let's assume the vote spread was the same: 

61.5% Democrat = 3.7 million votes
31.5% Republican = 1.9 million votes
7% Anyone else = .42 million votes

I believe 90% of the illegals voted Democrat more like 5.4 million versus 600 thousand.

Just like in the old Soviet Union the majority of poor and disconnected vote against their own interests to survive.

Today, California has over 100,000 homeless wandering the state, 90% of those homeless congregate in two cities Los Angeles and San Francisco, both controlled by Democrats for nearly a century.

California has super majorities in their House and Senate yet they have never passed legislation to enact the following:

Free Education for all.
Free Healthcare for all.
A Living Wage
Guaranteed Jobs for all
Affordable Housing for all
All power and water services provided by Alternate Energy sources
All vehicles are EV's 
High Speed Rail everywhere
All food from co-ops maintained by a social collective
No Meat allowed in the state

Lenin promised the people if they followed him:

Peace
Bread 
Land

The Communists confiscated all riches and property from  the wealthy, executed the majority of the educated and delivered what to their people?

So now, Democrats want to elect a Democratic Socialist who is offering what?

Free Education
Free Healthcare
Living Wage
Affordable Housing
Confiscation from the Rich
Lawsuits against the Fossil Industry

If the Democrats can't get those promises delivered in the Socialist Republic of California what makes them think it will happen country wide?

History shows all Empires die because of apathy, corruption, ignorance and civil war.
