And they call us stupid

Those condescending wankers who laugh and call us stupid aren’t looking particularly bright now that their “savior of the Republic” is heading to jail.

Those condescending wankers who love to laugh and call us stupid aren’t looking particularly bright today are they?

Yesterday the man they swooned over and promoted as “Presidential material” was convicted for attempting to extort Nike.

Yup, Michael Avenatti is looking at some serious jail time. And he’s still facing additional charges in California.

Funny how the people who love to call us stupid stupidly fell for this con artist.
So who are the stupid ones?

Never forget that gormless dink Rick Wilson laughing himself silly over us stupid Trump supporters calling us “credulous boomer rubes.”

And yet what did this oh-so-much-smarter-than-you Wilson say about Michael Avenatti?  Well, in a puff piece in Time Magazine on a possible 2020 Avenatti run, Wilson said this:

“You’ve got to be brave to go up against Trump,” Wilson says. “Avenatti’s got balls. Giant, clanking, titanium balls.”

Hopefully those “giant, clanking, titanium balls” come in handy when Avenatti is bending over to pick up the soap, am I right, Rick?

But what do I know?  I’m just one of Trump’s “rube ten-tooth base” you so enjoy mocking.

And yet.

You might call us stupid, Rick. But we weren’t the dummies when it came to Avenatti. We didn’t fall for his BS for one second.

But you, Mr. Oh-So Brilliant “GOP Strategist” who has never run a winning campaign, you did.

Take comfort in knowing you’re not the only moron who slobbered all over this guy and his testicles.

Last year when Avenatti’s legal troubles began, I pointed out that the entire Avenatti Saga is actually an indictment of the media.

Anybody with two brain cells to rub together knew the Avenatti Saga would end with this Shyster in deep legal trouble.

Which explains why the slobbering fangirls at MSNBC, CNN and the View missed it completely.

Their brain cells are so fried from Trump Derangement Syndrome, they couldn’t see the painfully obvious: Avenatti is a wrong dude.

And yet these guys call us stupid.

They call us gullible.

Who’s gullible now?

Naturally, when Avenatti’s guilty verdict came down, I immediately went to see what @beyondreasdoubt had to say.  She is the defense attorney who writes for the Federalist under the pseudonym “Caroline Court.”  From the moment that conman came on the scene, “Caroline Court” knew exactly who he was, and her columns on Avenatti were scathing.

Here’s her thread from yesterday:

She’s right.

The media – the very people who call us stupid – will never spare a moment for some much-needed self-reflection.

Instead, they’ll simply pretend that the 254 interviews they gave this man never, ever happened.

Or, they’ll somehow find a way to package his conviction in the standard “Republicans pounce” spin.  Which, by the way, is exactly how Brian Stelter’s “Reliable Sources” newsletter framed it:

Remember this the next time they call us stupid.

Remember exactly how these prats made absolute fools of themselves celebrating, praising and fawning all over a complete fraud.

And while they were slobbering all over this hack, we “stupid” people were the ones who saw through him.

Remember this the next time they clutch their pearls and cry because President Trump mocks them.

These garbage people who love to call us stupid deserve to be mocked.

They deserve to be ridiculed.

And we “credulous boomer rubes” are enjoying the hell out of getting the last laugh.
