The Adam Schiff Show is a ratings dud
MSNBC and CNN have invested too much time, effort and money on Impeachment. They can’t give it up. Even if that means their ratings and their integrity get obliterated by this bug-eyed wrecking ball.
Do you know how many Americans tuned in to last year’s State of the Union Address?
Talk about a ratings bonanza.
In the fall of 2018, more than 20 million people tuned in to watch the testimony of Christine Blasey-Ford and Brett Kavanaugh.
I imagine CNN and MSNBC thought the Adam Schiff Show would bring them the same kind of ratings gold as those two televised events.
But it turns out the Adam Schiff Show is a monumental ratings dud.
Only eleven million tuned in for Episode One.
And apparently they weren’t exactly hooked. Because by Episode Two, the ratings for the Adam Schiff Show dropped to 8.9 million viewers.
Just for perspective, President Trump’s SOTU last year was more than five times the audience.
Even the testimony from that doddering, confused old man Robert Mueller was able to bring in 13 million viewers.
I think it’s a fair assessment to say that Americans just aren’t that into the Adam Schiff Show.
But CNN and MSNBC don’t seem to have a clue. They’ve aired every minute of this ratings dud as if it mattered.
Meanwhile, the guy at CNN whose job it is to watch Fox News seems mystified that Fox chose to drop the ratings turd for other programming.
Hey, Oliver. Maybe it’s because the Adam Schiff Show is a ratings Kryptonite.
This is the problem with the American news media. From deep inside their hermetically-sealed bubble, they have no earthly idea what goes on out here in the real world.
These guys just don’t understand why we aren’t as dazzled by the Adam Schiff Show as they are.
Like the ugly American who goes to a foreign country and thinks the natives will understand his English if he just speaks louder, these dinks think if they bellow from the rooftops about how “dazzling” and “brilliant” Adam Schiff is, Americans will finally care.
This is why we’re getting the over-the-top fan-girling over that bug-eyed little gremlin.
In order to goose their own ratings, these guys are willing to obliterate what little integrity they have left.
And we still don’t care.
At the end of the day, we’re just not that into the Adam Schiff Show.
In fact, outside of news studios most Americans couldn’t pick him out of a line-up.
After countless TV interviews, Sunday show appearances, and leading the impeachment inquiry on cable news networks for hours upon hours, nobody knew who Adam Schiff was on Jeopardy tonight.

Today the Trump defense team begins their phase of the Senate trial. I for one plan to watch at least some of it. And I’m thinking it’s possible that, despite it being a Saturday, the ratings for the Trump team’s phase just might surpass those of the Adam Schiff Show.
