Desperately Pandering Lizzy

Warren’s “Campaign of Cringe” has reached critical mass.

Just how desperate is Liz Warren?  Well, desperate enough to think the key to turning her flagging campaign around is desperately pandering to the all-important “trans kids” base in Iowa.

You know, last summer I said that Kirsten Gillibrand was the worst candidate in the history of Presidential elections.

I hereby retract that statement.

Because Desperately Pandering Lizzy here is making Kirsten Gillibrand look like a campaigning genius.

In fact, Michael Dukakis riding in a tank while wearing a dippy helmet seems like a stroke of electoral brilliance compared to Desperately Pandering Lizzy.

You’re cratering in the polls.  The Iowa Caucus is four days away.

And you come with “have a ‘trans’ kid interview my Education Secretary?!”

In IOWA!

Doesn’t it stand to reason that if you need to regain your footing and get your trajectory heading upwards again you would hammer those issues that are important to the largest segment of the voting public?

Instead of running a national campaign, Desperately Pandering Lizzy is running a niche campaign.

Outside of the folks on Twitter who put their pronouns in their bios or the editorial staff of Teen Vogue, is there any actual sentient human being whose voting decision hinges on whether or not a ‘trans kid’ gets to interview the nominee for Education Secretary?

If Desperately Pandering Lizzy really wants to resuscitate her flailing presidential campaign, she should be swinging for the fences.

Newslfash: “I’m going to have a ‘trans kid’ interview my Education Secretary” isn’t swinging for the fences.

Instead, it’s like trying to hit a home run using a toothpick for a bat.
Warren’s “Campaign of Cringe” has gotten so painful, isn’t even entertaining anymore.

She should spare us any further pain and simply drop out.

But she won’t.

Even if we got a trans kid to tell her it’s time to call it quits.
