Predict this election consequence

For the sake of our republic, let’s hope the polls are wrong yet again, at least the ones showing Dems leading. Worryingly, aggregated data from prediction markets as of Nov 2 implied Democrats had a 95% chance of taking the House of Representatives and a 76% chance of taking the Senate.

President Trump predicted that if there is a “blue wave” the markets will go to hell in a handbasket, or words equally hyperbolic. While the Dems will try to over-regulate everything — everything — and will attempt to slow down AI/SI development, I’m a bit more sanguine because…King Days.

Trump will have the opportunity for plenty of King Days. Other than the OBBB, most of President Trump’s sagacious policy implementations have been by fiat. In his second term, he has signed 292 executive orders. He doesn’t need no stinkin’ auto pen, either.

Jokingly, President Trump already referred to himself as King. Of course, he won’t be a literal king, as he treasures our republic.  He even praised the signing of the Magna Carta, which, in essence, limits a king’s arbitrary power.  He will just continue his benign Golden Age rule by executive action. Meanwhile, Dems will show their true colors by unleashing lawfare against political opponents. Trump can handle that better than anybody, and precedent has been set to issue blanket pardons.

Assuredly, pragmatic Independents will become disenchanted with the Dems wanton political theater. They may be seen as the anti-American incumbents incessantly investigating and intimidating common sense Americans. If they do get around to policy, their tax hikes, anti-business stance, and counterproductive clean energy dictates will be a stark reminder of who made daily living expenses more costly.

Predict this: in 2028, the America First Republican candidate will easily differentiate himself from whichever lunatic emerges from the Dems’ commie cadre. Whoever they select will be on the Primrose Path to ruin and moral decay; the Republican flag-bearer can march along the path to a third consecutive Republican term in the White House. That has only happened once since WWII, but the stars may be aligning.  God operates in mysterious ways; after all, America, he shed his grace on thee.
