Rolling Stone Fawns Over Hasan Piker, Who Said America 'Deserved' 9/11
[Editor’s note: This story contains explicit language.]
Rolling Stone Magazine is fawning over socialist Hasan Piker, who said that “America deserved 9/11.”
The magazine ran a cover piece on Piker, who has campaigned with Michigan U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14).
When asked about his remarks about America and 9/11, Piker told Rolling Stone:
“I stream for eight hours a day, seven days a week,” Piker said. “I’m gonna say some dumb s**t."
Over the weekend, El-Sayed told Meet the Press that Piker’s comment about 9/11 was some “dumb thing that someone said out of context.”
Piker makes money by streaming for hours a day and saying inflammatory things to his millions of followers. Piker has called on his followers to kill capitalists, among other things.
Democrat politicians hope to gain the support of Piker's followers after many young men have stopped supporting Democrat candidates.
