CENTCOM Now Imposes Heavy Costs on Iran for Targeting Ships

RedState

It's on. The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has launched a wave of new attacks on Iran, following the rogue nation's attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz

CENTCOM reports:

U.S. Central Command forces have begun launching a series of powerful strikes against Iran to impose heavy costs for targeting and attacking commercial shipping crewed by innocent civilians in an international waterway. The U.S. strikes are in response to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels that were transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s demonstrated aggression was unwarranted, dangerous, and a clear violation of the ceasefire.

It's unclear so far just what targets in Iran were hit, although President Trump has threatened to hit Iran's electrical generation capacity and their petroleum facilities before now.

RedState's own Bob Hoge reported earlier on Iran's attack on at least two ships:

Iran Reneges Again, Strikes Two Ships in the Strait of Hormuz — US Responds by Hitting Them Where It Hurts

Bob reports:

On Monday and Tuesday, they were at it again, and reportedly fired at least two missiles at commercial vessels in the Strait — and President Donald Trump is not pleased. Some reports say that two tankers were hit, but another says there were three in total.

The Trump administration quickly reacted with consequences:

The embedded X post reads:

JUST IN: President Trump is officially REVOKING the US license that allowed Iran to sell their oil, after the mullahs STRUCK vessels in the Strait of Hormuz — Reuters The US says Iran's actions WILL be met with consequences. TRUMP FAFO playing out overseas! He will NOT let them get away with MoU violations again.

Iran would seem to be finding out now what the "or else" is. It seems that the final planting of their disassembled Supreme Leader may have the Islamic Republic fired up, for all the good that does them.
