Slick Willy Clinton Lashes Out at Trump Over Epstein Files Release, Offers Pathetic Defense

RedState

And now, readers, we return to the story that won’t go away, the Jeffrey Epstein saga. The deceased pedophile continues to dominate headlines over six years after his death, mostly because there are rumors that high-profile individuals were involved with his exploits, and if their enemies can prove it, they can be ruined.

There are also countless victims who have never received justice.

Already this Friday afternoon/evening, news broke that today was the deadline Congress had established for the DOJ to release the files, and the department was doing just that. As our Ward Clark reported, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that the investigation had discovered more than 1,200 victims and their families.

Next came the story about the pictures in the document dump, many of which were salacious and featured photos of famous people and politicians — including many snaps of former President Bill Clinton. He was seen with unknown women in a pool, a jacuzzi, and at dinners and other occasions. The story has gone viral, and Slick Willy is obviously feeling the heat because he released a snippy statement Friday where he absolved himself of all responsibility and blamed… Trump.

Per the Daily Mail:

'The White House hasn't been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton,' the spokesperson said.

'This is about shielding themselves from what comes next, or from what they'll try and hide forever.'

This statement is all too easy to ridicule for two reasons: one, the Biden White House, a Democrat regime, had the files for four years and did bupkis to release them. Two, they released them on Friday because they were required to do so by December 19 due to an act of Congress, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, that was signed into law by President Trump on November 19.

Warning: Profanity in the below tweet:

But the former president wasn’t done:

So they can release as many grainy 20-plus-year-old photos as they want, but this isn't about Bill Clinton. Never has, never will be.

Wait… But isn’t that exactly what the Democrats have been doing for years now, holding up decades-old photographs of Epstein and Trump in the same room together and shrieking, “Ha! Got you now!” The difference is that we don’t have any pictures of Trump in a pool with women, nor has any record been uncovered of him flying on Epstein’s private plane, dubbed the Lolita Express, over 20 times. Also, what was Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell doing at Chelsea Clinton's wedding in 2010?

We don’t know if there’s fire involved with Clinton and Epstein’s relationship, but there sure seems to be a helluva lot of smoke.

Clinton raged on:

'Even Susie Wiles said Donald Trump was wrong about Bill Clinton,' the spokesperson added, referencing Wiles' recent interview with Vanity Fair in which she admitted 'Trump was wrong' about there being incriminating evidence against the former Democratic president in the files.

'There are two types of people here. The first group knew nothing and cut Epstein off before his crimes came to light. The second group continued relationships with him after. We're in the first,' Clinton's spokesperson said.

'No amount of stalling by people in the second group will change that. Everyone, especially MAGA, expects answers, not scapegoats.'

Clinton claims he cut off ties in 2005 when the investigations into Epstein became publicized. They had been friends since the early 1990s. What he fails to point out is that Trump kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago and ended ties with him in 2007 after the pedophile’s indictment, and has said that he was leery of the man going back as far as 2004.

I actually agree with Clinton on one thing: a photograph of yourself with someone who later turns out to be a criminal does not prove that you are a criminal. That being said, he and his wife Hillary could quiet a whole lot of talk if they just appeared before the House Oversight Committee and its chairman, Rep. James Comer (KY-01), which they’ve consistently managed to slip out of doing. If you have nothing to hide, then why not just show up and tell the truth?

As of this writing, their appearance has once again been delayed and is now set for January 13. We’ll see if they actually show up — or just keep sending out defensive, lame statements that continue to make him look worse.
