Watch CBP Agents Taking Care of Business on the Streets of NC in New 'Operation Charlotte's Web'
As we wrote on Friday, state and local Democrats in North Carolina began wildly chattering this week after information started to circulate that after making progress on sweeping up criminal illegal aliens in Chicago, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was readying immigration operations to start in Charlotte soon.
Part of the pushback came from city council members, as well as the sheriff of Mecklenburg County, where Charlotte is located. It was the fear-mongering from one congresswoman and the state's governor, though, that drew the attention of Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino, when they failed to acknowledge the difference between the words "immigrant" and "illegal alien." He helped them out with a primer on his X account
"Immigrants rest assured, we have your back like we did in Chicago and Los Angeles," he wrote. "Rep. Adams, perhaps you & Gov. STEIN should learn the difference between an illegal alien & an immigrant. Illegal aliens have NO PLACE in our communities and should self deport via CBP Home."
Now, it's official. It's called "Operation Charlotte's Web," according to a new DHS press release on Saturday night. And here are some of the criminals the Border Patrol are hunting for on the streets:
There's also a statement from DHS Assistant Sec. Tricia McLaughlin, as local Queen City News' Andy Weber reported, adding that there were already "plenty of videos" on social media showing the border patrol at work:
In case you can't read the statement, it reads:
"Americans should be able to live without fear of violent criminal illegal aliens hurting them, their families, or their neighbors. We are surging DHS law enforcement to Charlotte to ensure Americans are safe and public safety threats are removed. There have been too many victims of criminal illegal aliens. President Trump and Secretary Noem will step up to protect Americans when sanctuary politicians won’t.”
Let's browse through a few of the videos together:
Warning: videos below contain coarse language
Here we see dozen of Border Patrol vehicles heading into Charlotte:
Unsurprisingly, the fear tactics employed by Dems have worked here, also, with anti-ICE mobs making themselves heard and seen:
In this video, a woman inside what appears to be a nail salon can be heard invoking the name of Jesus, then calling the officers "demons." And people outside are harassing and swearing at them as they work:
Here's a report from Spectrum News, showing some of the immigration ops underway:
Border Patrol loads some people into their van, as some women in the background of the video speak in Spanish:
Last but not least, here's Gregory Bovino in Charlotte, doing more educating and being helpful to the people of the Queen City, when a woman demanded to know why agents were interviewing people outside a grocery store. His answer is perfect!
Watch:
Bovino: “Could be. Criminals grocery shop. They gotta eat, too.”
President Trump talked in a new interview released Friday, about how much difference a new president made, especially when it comes to securing the border and the safety of Americans all over the country:
