‘Cut that….Out’: JD Vance Blows Up Over Media Claims That Assassin's Motive Is Unknown

RedState

Vice President JD Vance has had it with legacy media's and Democrats' attempts to claim that we have no idea what Charlie Kirk's assassin's motive was, despite numerous law enforcement authorities sharing that the suspected killer, with a trans-identifying male boyfriend, was influenced by leftist ideology.

In a clip from Fox News' interview with Vance that will air later on Wednesday on "Jesse Watters Primetime," Watters and the VP talked about how those on the left were feigning ignorance about why the suspected killer, Tyler Robinson, committed this heinous act, and Vance brought the receipts that prove what they have been doing.

Warning: profanity is included in the video below.

"You talk to the shooter's mother, you talk to the shooter's father. You talk to the local district attorney," Vance said. "You talk to the FBI Director or the Deputy Director at the FBI. You look at every ounce of evidence that we have, and it is clear."

"This is a person who grew up in a pretty normal family…who was radicalized by the far left, by the social networks of the far left and by the ideas of the far left," he added. "And got so far down the path of radicalization that he killed my friend [Charlie Kirk]! That is not a 'both sides' problem."

"My friend is dead because of left-wing political radicalization," Vance concluded. "And if you want to cut that [..] out, then be honest about it and look yourself in the mirror."

In a second clip that surfaced ahead of their interview, the two talked about how people were celebrating the murder of the Turning Point USA founder.

"It's disgusting. I would ask if you were the kind of person who feels joy at the death of a grieving mother and grieving children, what bad decisions have led you to where you are today?" Vance said. "And why don't you get back on the right path?"

Vance pointed out that the First Amendment protects all speech, including very ugly speech."But if you celebrate Charlie Kirk's death, you should not be protected from being fired for being a disgusting person."

I second Vance being infuriated by the lies from members of the media, Democrats, and those on the left who have claimed that we don't know Robinson's motives when the truth is we do know. The reason they want to hide those facts is that it hurts the Democrat Party and their leftist agenda.

As my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported, CNN's Kaitlan Collins took that ignorance of a motive to a new level when she said that law enforcement had yet to provide a motive while speaking with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

Arama wrote:

"Of course, we know. Come on," replied Cruz. "We don't have a motive yet? Really? Really, that's CNN's position? He just happened to fire the gun in celebration? You can't tell the motive here?" That was a reference to former MSNBC host Matthew Dowd's depraved suggestion that a supporter might have shot off the gun as part of a "celebration." Cruz blasted her claim as "objectively false...CNN should not be engaged in misinformation."

Cruz is right, the authorities have said that he was a leftist who claimed that Charlie Kirk spread hate. The charges also alleged that he targeted Kirk for his political expression. So what does Collins think that means? Denying that the authorities laid out a motive is truly problematic for an alleged news network.

Members of the legacy media have gone into full attack mode to desperately try to erase the fact that Kirk's killer was influenced by the radical ideology of the left and the things they too support. And those on the right must not let up and fight to tell the truth about Kirk's murderer, and the left's part in spreading this evil ideology.
