More Fun Signs and Video From the Sad Theater Kids Fired at the State Department
I wrote earlier about the unhappy folks who got canned at the State Department who posted a ridiculous sign to "Resist Fascism" in a bathroom at the agency. Then, we also covered the "clap out" for the poor fired people as they were hugged and told they mattered.
I get how people don't like being fired, and that's understandable. But what's so wild about this story is how entitled whoever put up the "fascism" sign is. They are aggrieved because they think that it's "fascist" that President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio would show them the door.
There were a few more signs that I wanted to share with you from the upset theater kids who can't go out like professionals but have to parade their drama. As I mentioned, I wrote about the "Resist Fascism" earlier. That was pretty hilarious because they don't even seem to understand what fascism was - and they're supposed to know in the State Department.
The entitlement is something else, and others are funny too.
"HISTORY WILL REMEMBER WHAT WAS LOST HERE." What? Sounds like a lot of unprofessional folks. Maybe only letting go of about 2 percent of them wasn't enough.
"You have saved so many lives."
"IF YOU SAY YOU LOVE FREEDOM BUT DON"T CARE IF IT APPLIES TO EVERYONE THEN WHAT YOU REALLY LOVE IS PRIVILEGE." What does that even mean? And what does that have to do with "privilege"? You're supposed to be there carrying out the policies of the United States.
This one was perhaps my favorite new one.
"Here sat America's experts on democracy, human rights (yes, which includes women's rights, LGBTQ+, and minorities' rights, elections security, freedom of expression, privacy, on countering corruption, violent extremism and disinformation, and more, You've just released them and hundreds of their colleagues into the wild,"
America's experts, kids. Talk about full of themselves. If they were such experts, why was the Biden foreign policy such a mess? Again, they appear to think they get to dictate policy, when that is the purview of the President of the United States.
This one was funny.
Reuters obviously was called to get this moment of drama, too. Notice the "democracy" headstones people are holding.
Did the media throw such a fit for the military members that Biden cashiered over the COVID vaccine?
"Imagine what these people were doing at their jobs." That's the most worrying thought.
Since it's the weekend, lastly, here's some snark with a made-up sign from our pal Jim Treacher:
