New Poll Destroys Dem Narrative on Riots and Trump Deployment of National Guard

Democrats are trying to push this narrative about the L.A. anti-ICE riots — that if they stopped the ICE raids, the riots would stop. They want to use the riots to hold over our heads. 

They are variously arguing that President Donald Trump didn't need to call in the guard because they had it in hand/it wasn't a lot of violence/protests were peaceful, depending on the Democrat. They try this, despite there being numerous videos of violence, including violence against law enforcement officers. 

But it looks like whatever propaganda they're trying to sell, the American people aren't buying it. They're trusting the evidence of their own eyes. 

Insider Advantage, one of the most accurate polls in the 2024 presidential election, has a new poll about the Los Angeles riots, and they asked what people thought about Trump deploying the National Guard. 

Fifty-nine percent of American likely voters approved of Trump's deployment of the National Guard, 39 percent disapproved, and 2 percent were undecided. Digging into the numbers, 89 percent of Republicans, 56 percent of independents, and even 37 percent of Democrats approved. When you have that many Democrats agreeing with Republicans and Independents, the Democrats may have a problem. 

People are looking at the violence and the politicians. They're seeing the locals fail to handle things. Then you have Trump saying, "I'm going to help stop it with the National Guard." Meanwhile, all the Democrats are doing is yelling at Trump.

It's another one of these 80/20 things where the Democrats are making the wrong choice again and have no idea what they look like. Why are they yelling at Trump when he's trying to help them? I think most people look at that and think that's crazy; you should want all the help you can get in such a situation. 

Americans of all stripes tend not to like people setting things ablaze, attacking law enforcement, waving foreign flags, and spraying graffiti like "Death to Amerikkka." 

Even with this polling information, as Joe Concha said, the Democrats will probably triple down on their insanity.

The only Democrat with any sense on this is Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) so far. 

So it's not looking good for them.
