Donald Trump: Demolition Man The world is bending to this man’s will.

Donald Trump: Demolition Man The world is bending to this man’s will.

The world is bending to this man’s will.

Democrat Pat Schroeder called President Ronald Reagan the “Teflon president” because nothing stuck to him. In contrast, Donald Trump doesn’t repel energy. Instead, he radiates it. He even makes bullets move around him. He’s like a walking nuclear power plant. Anyone tangling with him risks being turned into a glowing mess of goo.

If the man sleeps, it’s not clear when. His every waking hour seems dedicated to demolishing the deep state, cleaning up, and then building.

America — and the world — are in the demo phase. If you’ve watched any home renovation shows, you know that this is the phase of construction that a lot of men in the business love the most. Grab a sledgehammer, survey the walls, rooms, sinks, and bricks that shouldn’t be there, and smash away. It’s time to make room for something better. Donald Trump has been displeased with the money pit that is the federal government and the money pits that the American taxpayer has been bankrolling around the world. Now, he’s condemning the premises, knocking them down, and starting over.

The Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, the repurposed digital agency spawned by President Barack Obama, is tasked with throwing around the sledgehammer. They’re doing it with all the zeal of Chip Gaines. And just as Joanna watches the destruction with one amused eyebrow arched, the American people are enjoying the spectacle. Bash away, Chip, you’re doing a great job!

As one might imagine, the people who have been squatting in this rat-infested edifice are none too saccharine on having their stinking stronghold demolished. There has been high-decibel shrieking, both foreign and domestic, about Trump’s wrecking ball. Unfortunately for these people, the American voters don’t care. They’re done with the deep state grift and pleasantly surprised by a president who is doing what he said he would do.

Shocked and disoriented, those who thrived in the shadows are being exposed.

After blanket pardoning the January 6 protesters, Trump cast his eyes south and north — first to Panama, where the Chinese are attempting to control the Panama Canal, then to the newly named Gulf of America, and finally north to Greenland, which he is seeking to buy. These actions caused paroxysms of shock. The Associated Press refused to change the name of the Gulf of America, preferring to deadname the gulf, drawing the ire of the sharp-as-a-whip press secretary, Karoline Leavitt. The AP was booted out of the press pool for inaccurate reporting. They sued. They lost. And then the White House disbanded the whole White House Press Association, instead “balancing” the press pool ideologically.

The action has not stopped. Domestically, it began with Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, rounding up vicious drug-dealing criminals, murderers, and psychopaths, and deporting them, on camera, for all the world to see. Selena Gomez cried for “her people” and was met with jeers on social media as the crimes of these malcontents were detailed by grieving family members. Hollywood starlets put a sock in it. They’ve remained silent.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, wearing a flak jacket and riding a horse, went to the border to speak to the American people about the human trafficking she was stopping. Meanwhile, Mexico magically changed its remain-in-Mexico policy. Daniel J. Flynn writes eloquently of the narco-state down south.

Vice President JD Vance flew to Europe and gave two of the most substantive speeches ever uttered by a vice president. He stated the obvious: that Europe needs to remember our shared values — especially freedom of speech — and stop mistreating American companies if it wants to continue benefiting from being part of the American protectorate. The Europeans responded as expected, with reactions ranging from indignation to outrage. A couple weeks later, after an emergency meeting (and likely some basic math), French President Emmanuel Macron visited the president at the White House. There continues to be a steady stream of visitors entreating the president of the United States.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio briefed the State Department employees on their new roles and is currently brokering a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia by way of Saudi Arabia. Peace is coming.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is flying around the world, visiting troops, and skipping the hobnobbing with European generals. He’s making clear what matters: breaking things and killing people in the defense of America. Military recruitment is already up.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is rooting out NSA weirdos who are spending their work hours on not-so-secure message boards discussing their sex lives and changes.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that the department is getting to the bottom of chronic disease. Big Pharma is on notice.

FBI Director Kash Patel has been quietly working. He now has the Epstein files from the Southern District of New York, who apparently thought they ran their own legal empire and withheld documents from him.

Department of Justice Attorney General Pam Bondi is busily dropping politically motivated prosecutions. Cleaning up real crime in America is next on the agenda. Many former government employees are lawyering up and looking up countries that do not have extradition treaties with the U.S. Now, why would they need to do that?

Astonishingly, the members of Trump’s Cabinet are speaking with one voice — clearly, directly, and without obfuscation. It’s like sunlight to the Swamp Vampires. Shocked and disoriented, those who thrived in the shadows are being exposed.

The Swamp is being drained, and the billions going to leftist organizations via government entities are coming to a halt. This money train benefited Democrats and their pet DEI, climate change, and immigration projects nearly exclusively. These grifters now face the tough task of explaining to voters why millions of dollars were going to house illegal immigrants in luxury hotels owned by Pakistan while North Carolina residents froze in the mud.

With all that is being accomplished, the media is left to kvetch about Elon Musk. For those reading this a century from now who might not remember, Musk is the richest man in the world. He owns Tesla, the electric car company. He is going to send a rocket to the International Space Station to retrieve stranded American astronauts. He has an artificial intelligence model called Grok. He’s working on implantable devices to cure neurological diseases and augment human intelligence. He makes unnervingly lifelike robots. He also saved free speech with his acquisition of the social media platform Twitter, now X. He is an immigrant from South Africa, autistic, and a huge fan of Trump. Now, he’s leading DOGE and doing to the federal government what he did for X — cutting waste, increasing efficiency, and making the product better.

Musk’s AI, driven by twenty-something genius nerds, is currently crawling through federal agencies on a mission to find irregularities. And, oh, have they found them. Agencies hiding billions in bank accounts? Check. Money to the Clintons and Obamas? Check. Billions to a climate change program linked to Stacey Abrams? That’s weird! Check. Billions more funneled by John Podesta to environmental groups that had only just been founded? Why, that’s odd! Check. And this is just the beginning.

The fear and loathing in Washington, D.C., and around the world are bound to intensify as the evidence accumulates and criminal prosecutions begin.

Donald Trump has now been president for two months. The pace of this administration is astonishing. There is an urgency borne of time limits. The administration and the Republicans in Congress have two years to get done what needs to be done. Should the Republicans suffer defeats in the midterms, the reform party will be over. Maybe. Or maybe, the American people, as they do now, will recognize the changes, see a president who demonstrates deep compassion for Americans — whether it’s those in prison, Californians reeling in the wake of the fires, or North Carolinians struggling in the mud after an errant hurricane — and vote to keep this change train moving.

Americans are breathing again. An ineffable spirit of joy has been reinjected into the body politic. The president was cheered by NFL fans, MMA fans, and NASCAR fans. The people are with the president and thrilled that someone is fighting for them. This political will is giving even Republicans a spine.

Trump displays a framed picture of his mug shot just outside the Oval Office. Everyone walks past it on their way to speak to the president. It’s a reminder of what an out-of-control, politicized federal bureaucracy can do to anyone — even a president.

Trump doesn’t come across as angry, though he has every right to be. He’s determined. Sitting behind the Resolute Desk, he radiates power and purpose, resolute in his mission. This kind of strength of will would be unnerving if it weren’t tempered by clear principles and a steadfast desire to serve the American people.

The world is bending to this man’s will. The wars are ending. There will be peace. The despicable exploitation of the American taxpayer will stop. The bureaucracy will serve the people, or it will cease to exist. Instead of a slow decline, the West will ascend one nation at a time, living according to the will of their people and pursuing their own national interests.

Once the corruption is cleaned up, the building phase will begin, and it will be beautifully designed and make sense in every way. But for now, it’s demo day. It’s muscular, thrilling work.

Thankfully, America has good bones. The house is worth saving and rebuilding. May President Trump, his team, and, ultimately, the American people have the will to see the job through because there’s nothing worse than a contractor who bails mid-job. When the rebuilding is complete, Americans will be proud of their big, beautiful country because it will have been made great and healthy again. May God bless America.
