You Don't Get Jack: Special Counsel Smith, Fani Willis, and the Others Biden Snubbed in Pardon Flurry

Bob Hoge reporting for RedState

It was frankly a despicable presidency, and on the way out the door, Joe Biden tarnished his already dirt legacy by issuing a slew of pardons for his son Hunter, J6 hysteric Liz Cheney, former General Mark Milley, COVID misinformation czar Dr. Anthony Fauci, and a whole bunch more.

But who did he leave off his list? Turns out, quite a few folks who could be facing some much-needed scrutiny into their dubious actions. As RedState’s Bonchie reported, Rachel Vindman, wife of Alexander Vindman, “the pudgy member of the first Trump administration's national security council who allegedly leaked classified information to a ‘whistle-blower,’" spent Sunday whining that her man didn’t get a pardon.

The Vindmans aren’t the only ones who didn’t get their coveted get-out-of-jail-free card. There are at least four miscreants who might be looking in their mirror when Pam Bondi becomes the country’s Attorney General:

  • (Former) Special Counsel Jack Smith
  • Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg
  • New York Judge Juan Merchan
  • Fulton County, Georgia DA Fani Willis

To a person, each of these people overstepped ethical boundary after ethical boundary in their desperate attempts to “get Trump” and put him behind bars before the election. How’s that looking now, guys?

Let’s take a brief look at each of these disgraced Never Trumpers who sold out their ethical obligations to “save Democracy.”

Jack Smith

The prosecutor who Trump likes to call “deranged” failed, and he failed badly. We don’t need to go into the endless legal back and forth that dragged out seemingly forever, but let’s just sum it up by saying the dude spent millions of our dollars and years of our time and accomplished exactly squat. He resigned and ran away earlier this month rather than wait for his behind to get sacked by President Trump. Sayonara, Jack.

Could he be legally in jeopardy for his ethics-free antics? We shall see.

Alvin Bragg

Two words: Daniel Penny. The resounding defeat that the Manhattan District Attorney took in that case tells you everything you need to know about the misguided prosecutor. He put woke ideals over justice, and he got epically smacked down in the process.

But that’s not his only problem: his bizarre prosecution of Trump over business fraud ended up with 34 dubious convictions, but that was mainly due to the partisan efforts of our next guy:

Juan Merchan

Merchan’s shameless behavior throughout the above-mentioned trial was so nakedly obvious, it’s a wonder that he didn’t get a medal from Chuck Schumer or Jerry Nadler. Seemingly every ruling he made was anti-Trump and defied legal precedent.

Meanwhile, his daughter has been making the big bucks off the Democrat sycophants. Bet he wishes he had a pardon about now.

Have we forgotten someone? Oh yes! The thoroughly disgraced district attorney of all places, Fulton County, Georgia.

Fani Willis

For reasons unknown to thinking people, she got it in her head that she could prosecute the former (and now sitting) president for election interference crimes.

But sadly for her, reality hit, and she was exposed for a series of ethical lapses, and her case is basically deader than Chairman Mao.

It’s been a rogue’s gallery of people who sold their souls in the deranged effort to bring down Donald Trump. They face-planted, however, and for the unlucky ones who weren’t recipients of Joe Biden’s corrupt pardons, it’s time to face the music. Will they face consequences from the new DOJ? Perhaps. In the meantime, however, they’re already facing consequences as their reputations are burned beyond recognition. I'd feel sorry for them—but they deserve every single thing that’s coming to them.
