This morning, Justin Trudeau announced that he will resign as Prime Minister.
He has also prorogued parliament until March 24. With all three opposition parties having pledged to vote the government down, this means that a federal election could happen in early May, just a few months from now. That’s almost six months earlier than scheduled! There are still plenty of questions to be answered: who will replace Trudeau? How long will that leadership race take? One thing is clear though, Ross: we need to be ready. The legacy media already has their marching orders: they stand to lose hundreds of millions - if not billions - of dollars if there’s a change in government. Their coverage of the election will be biased and unfair! We, on the other hand, have a different agenda: deliver Canadians the objective, non-partisan news coverage they badly want and need. |

With an election imminent, we need to be ready. Legacy media has government money – we have you. |
