ICE Data Confirms 1.4 Million Unaccounted-For Illegals Remain in US w/ Final Removal Orders

Ward Clark reporting for RedState

If incoming border czar Tom "The Hammer" Homan needs a good place to start deporting illegals, some internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data recently obtained by Fox News might provide just such a list.

The X post from Fox News' Bill Melugin states, in part:

EXCLUSIVE: Internal ICE data obtained by @FoxNews reveals the nationalities of the more than 1.4 million illegal immigrants in the US who have been ordered deported by a DOJ immigration judge, but are still in the US and are not in ICE custody. They include:

China 37,908
Haiti 32,363
Iran 2,618
Pakistan 7,760
Uzbekistan 975
Venezuela 22,749
Afghanistan 1,708
Mauritania 3,822
India 17,940
Brazil 38,677

Almost 38,000 from Communist China? Most of the Chinese illegals we have seen in various reports have been young, unattached men. This number, 38,000, is roughly the equivalent of three divisions of infantry. And it doesn't take a great mastery of current geopolitics to look at this list and see that there are a lot of people from countries that are not friendly to the United States. Granted, some of them may be refugees, but 2,618 from Iran? The world's number-one state sponsor of Islamic terrorism? How much do we know about these people, and what are they doing here?

Most of the illegal immigrants, however, still come from Latin America. This, from a deportation standpoint, seems like low-hanging fruit:

The majority of the 1.4+ million illegal immigrants ordered deported are from the easy to remove countries of the northern triangle and Mexico, and will likely be a starting point for Trump admin mass deportations along with violent criminals & public safety threats.

El Salvador 203,822
Honduras 261,651
Guatemala 253,413
Mexico 252,044

They are here illegally. The need to go home. Of course, some nations aren't willing to take their own people back:

The ICE data also gives an official list of "recalcitrant" countries, countries that largely refuse to take back their own citizens for deportation and won't cooperate with the US. They are:

Bhutan, Burma, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Laos, Pakistan, China, Russia, Somalia, and Venezuela.

Too bad. Give each of these people a one-way plane ticket to their country of origin, and have some U.S. Marshals  make sure they get on the plane, and maybe an Air Marshal or two to make sure they get off at the far end. After that, they aren't our problem. They never should have been our problem to begin with, but we have to start somewhere.

Getting the Charlie Foxtrot that is our border security and illegal immigration problem under control is a big reason Donald Trump won the 2024 election. In Homan, he seems to have just the right man to ramrod this process through. Now, we see where the potential new DHS head needs to get started.

It's going to be an interesting couple of years ahead.
