GOP Govs to the Rescue: Help Is on the Way to Stand With Texas

Nick Arama reporting for RedState

As we reported, 25 Republican governors have sent messages of support to Texas in its efforts to defend its borders in the battle with the Biden administration. The Biden administration had given Texas Gov. Greg Abbott a deadline of Friday to let the federal government back into various areas that Texas had taken over for the defense of the border.

You can check here and see if your state is on the list of the sane states.

Here's the statement they released standing with Texas, saying it had the right to defend itself because Joe Biden was failing to enforce the law.

The only Republican governor who has not weighed in is Vermont Gov. Phil Scott. You can see here also the rise in immigration under Joe Biden on the graph they show. Since Joe Biden has occupied the office, we've seen more than 10 million enter illegally.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem announced she was traveling to the border on Friday to support Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, which she termed a "warzone" because of Joe Biden.

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt also said that he would be sending the Oklahoma National Guard to help out Texas.  He said they were assembling the numbers right now and that he would be in contact with Gov. Abbott.

Noem and other governors have sent the National Guard before and may do so again. Former President Donald Trump was encouraging the Republican governors to send Abbott the help. Gov Abbott said he expects more National Guard to be coming from a variety of states.

So hold onto your hats, and we'll see what happens next, but I don't think Joe Biden wants to take this on and start something when the American public is so clearly going to be on the side of Texas and the right to defend to the border. That would not have a positive result for him.
