Former CIA Officer Jason Hanson Discusses Surviving and the End of the World
On this episode of “A Fresh Perspective,” I had the honor of interviewing former CIA officer and author Jason Hanson. Through his books, YouTube Channel, and classes, Hanson has imparted the knowledge and skills he learned while serving in the agency and applies it to everyday folks living their lives.
We discussed his experiences and expertise in self-defense, surveillance, and spy skills. Much of the interview focused on the importance of situational awareness, especially being present and observant of one’s surroundings.
He also gave some advice on what to do if you suspect you are being followed and how to lose someone who is following you. Believe it or not, this particular area is more relevant to regular folks than you might think!
Hanson also addresses some of the most common misconceptions about the world of espionage and how little it resembles James Bond. We even touched on end-of-the-world scenarios, and his predictions on this issue were quite alarming.
This was one of the most enlightening interviews I have had in a long time. I learned quite a bit during this 30-minute conversation.
