Judge Orders Release of Names of Over 175 of Jeffrey Epstein's 'High-Profile Associates'
Early in 2024, 177 people will be getting some unwelcome New Year's presents, as they are going to be publicly named as "high profile associates" of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. On Monday, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York, Loretta Preska ordered a "vast number" of documents unsealed in 14 days - which would mean the release will happen on or about January 2nd - including the list of names.
Dozens of Jeffrey Epstein's high profile associates are in for a New Year's surprise as they will be named in court documents set to be released in the first days of 2024.
The pedophile's powerful friends are set to be exposed as part of a vast unsealing that a judge ordered on Monday will take place in 14 days.
That will take the release day to January 1 – but as that is a holiday it is likely the files will be made public the following day.
Some 177 people will be identified across hundreds of files which will shed new light on the late financier's sex trafficking operation and his network of influence.
The case over which Judge Preska is presiding is a defamation case by one Virginia Roberts, who brought the defamation case against Epstein's partner and factotum, Ghisleaine Maxwell. That case was settled, but Roberts is suing to have the documents from the case made public; those documents, of course, include the names of the 177 people referenced.
Judge Loretta Preska wrote 'unsealed in full' next to the names of 177 Does who are Epstein's friends, recruiters, victims and others whose names will be revealed when the material is released within the coming weeks.
The material is related to a defamation case brought by Prince Andrew's accuser Virginia Roberts in New York against Epstein's madam Ghislaine Maxwell.
Stating that the list of names could be interesting is a massive understatement. The list likely includes names of staff and managers of Jeffrey Epstein's private "Pedo Island," as well as some of the underage victims of Epstein's operation and possibly guests on the notorious island estate. There may well be other names, including those of political figures and even royalty:
Perhaps most alarming for Prince Andrew is the inclusion of Johanna Sjoberg, one of Epstein's underage girlsd, in the list of Does.
Judge Preska effectively names Sjoberg as Jane Doe 162, by citing a Daily Mail article about her from 2021.
So far only small excerpts of her depositions have been made public, and those have been damning for the Duke.
Jeffrey Epstein, while in jail on sex trafficking charges, reportedly committed suicide on July 23rd, 2019; the autopsy report indicated that Epstein killed himself by "throw(ing) himself violently off the cell's top bunk," after having been taken off suicide watch and placed in a special housing unit with a cellmate, who was awaiting trial for four counts of murder.
Stay tuned for more coverage on this, when the list of names is released.
