WATCH: Rapper Cardi B Lets Loose on Biden and Eric Adams Over Bad Conditions in New York
NYC Mayor Eric Adams announced that they would be cutting both the police and education to be able to deal with the flood of illegal aliens that they have received, courtesy of Joe Biden and his horrible border policies.
Adams said they would be reducing NYPD officers to below 30,000 and slash the Education Department by $1 billion, among other cuts. He also warned that other cuts might be necessary unless they got some federal help to deal with the illegal alien arrivals. It was reported as cuts that would "kneecap departments."
Adams even went begging hat in hand to celebrities during a speech at the Harvard Club asking for donations to organizations to help out with the crisis.
The crisis is a simple one and it is all in the lap of Joe Biden. Secure the border, and don't keep letting in illegal aliens, and poof, the "crisis" goes away overnight. But Biden simply refuses to properly address the problem.
But there's one celebrity who is not happy with either Adams or Joe Biden, Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B. She's a native New Yorker and this latest move to cut services was enough for her. She said while it wasn't going to hurt her, she was furious for all the people it was going to hurt, including her family members. And she was furious that Joe Biden said they could fund two wars, but he wasn't taking care of this. She even prefaced this with "If something happens to me, it's because I'm speaking truth." So you know she thinks it's going to stick in someone's craw. She's supported Democrats in the past but said she wasn't going to be endorsing for president anymore -- that's how badly Democrats, or more specifically Biden, have disappointed her.
Warning for graphic language (and I do mean graphic):
“What’s going to happen to my nieces, what’s going to happen to my nephews, what’s going to happen to my cousins, my aunts, my friends that’s living in the hood?” Cardi B asked.
“I’m from the Bronx, I don’t want to see my s–t affected … Everybody be like ‘New York is dirty,’ and it is dirty,” the rapper continued. “And we’re going to get even dirtier with the f—ing budget cut.”
“Crimes are gonna go through the roof because there is a police safety budget cut,” she said, referencing Adams’ cancellation of the next five police academy classes, which threatens to push New York’s Finest to its lowest manpower level in three decades.
“And on top of that there’s a sanitation f—ing budget cut so that means we’re gonna be drowning in rats,” the rapper added. [....]
She gets down to brass tacks with the "drowning in rats" - that used to be a thing in the subways in New York where you'd see monster-size rats, and it may become a thing again.
She also ripped into Biden for thinking he can "fund two wars" but not dealing with these issues.
“How is there $100 million budget cut in New York City for f—ing schools, library, police safety and sanitation, yet Joe Biden is talking about, ‘Yeah, we can fund two wars’?” she said.
“We can’t fund these wars, we can barely f—ing fund this country.”
She chastises Bidne for not being honest about the problems, "We really, really....are f**ked right now." I think that was about ten times she said "really" there. Indeed, she was lowballing the amount of the cuts, it's far more than the $120 million she was saying.
She also wasn't afraid to use that word that Joe Biden keeps denying -- "recession" -- and she thought the budget cut problem would hit around the country as well. "The world is in shambles," she said.
We're seeing people on the left how getting there's a problem. We also saw this walk with actor/comedian Michael Rapaport, virulently anti-Trump, now saying that voting for Donald Trump is on the table because Biden has made such a mess of things. And I think there are so many more who don't have the platforms to speak out. They know whatever else, they've been sold a bill of goods. They may be at various stages along that road, but they've started that trip.
That's a good thing for truth and a bad thing for Biden.
