Chaos Is A Choice
Well, California’s rulers finally decided to clean up the junkie-strewn and poop-positive streets of San Francisco. But, of course, they didn’t do that because foul boulevards and medieval subways are a problem for normal people. California’s rulers did it because China’s Winnie-the-Pooh-looking dictator Xi is coming to town. You would think that the people of San Francisco would be insulted, but they’re not. Maybe they are into the city’s weird S&M scene on the masochist side, since they keep electing the people who force them to dwell in squalor. With basically a wave of a wand, and a bunch of cops with some support, their leaders cleared out the street vermin infesting the City-by-the-Bay overnight. They would do that for some commie potentate, but not for the people of San Francisco.
We always knew it was possible to have a city that does not look like a living Hieronymus Bosch painting. We saw what Rudy Giuliani did in New York City. If you are of a certain age, and or if you watch those gritty 1970s and 80s New York melodramas, you know that the pre-Rudy Big Apple was a Big Road Apple. It was a skeevy hellscape of criminals, losers, and degenerates. And Giuliani made that all go away. He made it safe. You could walk the streets. You could live like a normal human being. And of course, after a few years, the people of New York City forgot what it was like before and decided that now they were going to elect a bunch of people who take the side of the criminals and creeps. So, it’s no surprise today that New York City is a nightmare again.
What this all goes to show is that this chaos is a choice. It doesn’t have to be that way. You don’t have to have mayors who make excuses for the social pathologies that ruin it for everybody else. You don’t have to tie the hands of the cops. You don’t have to have DAs who refuse to charge criminals with crimes, but who will charge citizens protecting other citizens from the criminals who should have been charged but weren’t. You can stand up and say, “No.” No to crime. No to trash. No to hobos. No, no, no.
But they don’t. And they won’t. They won’t because their own blue voters don’t matter to them. The weird thing is that the blue voters don’t seem to care. They keep reelecting the same people with the same failed policies over and over just because the candidates have a “D” after their names on the ballot. At some point, you have to assume that the voters are pretty happy with the chaos because they are choosing it. It’s kind of weird to allow yourself to be treated with such contempt by people who depend on you for a job. Why do they allow it? Is it to get a virtue signal tingle when they refuse to support putting the hammer down on people upon whom the hammer would come down in any civilized society?
They can fix it anytime they want to. We just saw that. That dirty commie flies into the Bay Area and nobody cares that they ran off all the street people. And as soon as he flies back over the ocean, they are going to let the trash back on the streets. And then the people San Francisco are going to scratch their heads and wonder why their city has turned into an urban toilet. And then they’ll keep voting Democrat.
It's bizarre. If not a death wish, it’s at least a miserableness wish. Just the other day, here in Los Angeles, one of our main interstates, The 10, was closed down by a fire. Now, you may ask how a fire can shut down a massive construct of concrete and rebar. Well, it would have to be a pretty damn big fire. And it was. Do you want to know what caught fire? A hobo encampment underneath an overpass. It was so built-up with junk and trash and the detritus of broken people that the leadership of Los Angeles just allowed to stay there that when it caught fire it was hot enough to actually crack concrete.
And please shut up if you’re one of those 9/11 truther idiots. I don’t want to hear anything from you right now. Or ever.
The fact remains that this tolerance of deviance has grown so profound that it’s physically destroying our infrastructure. This isn’t just an inconvenience. Interstate 10 is an artery. Millions of people who need it to go to work and live their lives and support their families. The need to use that road, but now they can’t because a bunch of liberals in Los Angeles were afraid to say “No” to a bunch of bums.
It's not hard. Say it with me: Hey, move your trash. You can’t live under the bridge. You are not a troll.
LA’s leadership could do it in a heartbeat. Here’s how. “LAPD, move them out.” And then the cops go do it, and followed by the leaders of Los Angeles by not hassling the cops about doing their job. In fact, the leadership should support them. The leadership should get up and say “We want to thank the men and women and gender non-binary two-spirits of the LAPD for cleaning up this rat’s nest of filth and garbage that is a hazard to the normal people of our fair city for whom we work.”
Easy.
But, of course, the reality is that if you are a Democrat politician, you don’t work for normal Americans. You work for rich liberals, including woozy wine moms, pinko activists, and bizarre pronoun people. You also work for the bums and the criminals. You don’t work for anybody in between. It’s either rich people, or bums. One or the other. That’s your coalition. Except for some reason, normal people still vote for you. After a while you have to assume that they know what they’re voting for and that they’re happy with their choice. But it is a choice. Chaos is a choice. Stop choosing it.
