Biden Sparks Serious Concern With Comments About 'Code to Blow Up the World'

Nick Arama reporting for RedState

wrote earlier about how Kamala Harris tried to dismiss the Joe Biden age question during an interview at The NY Times DealBook Summit. She argued that Biden. was "absolutely authoritative" when he was dealing with world leaders and Congress, and that the American people should not buy what they were seeing with their own eyes about Biden's deterioration.

Unfortunately for Kamala, Joe Biden spoke on Wednesday in Colorado, and put paid to her claims about his competency. He was speaking at a wind tower company. As my colleague Bonchie noted earlier, Biden even managed to confuse former President Donald Trump's title, talking about him as "Congressman Trump" and someone else whose name was indecipherable, "Bope."

I think it was Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO). If he can't even get his political opponents' names and titles correct when he's trying to attack them, why should anyone believe anything else he has to say?

But that wasn't all. It got worse, especially when Biden started talking about the nuclear codes. "Look, my Marine has a code to blow up the world," he told the workers at the plant. Seriously, he said that.

Oh my. Why did he even talk about that? And how are our nuclear codes in the hands of such a man? We all know that had former President Donald Trump said anything like this, the Democrats would be screaming their heads off, crying that he endangered national security, and drafting up more articles of impeachment or calling for the 25th Amendment to be employed.

There was also the firestorm when Ronald Reagan made a joke about bombing Russia. That was a topic for days, as the media flipped out.

But because it's Biden, the media likely won''t even cover this. If anything, you'll get more comments. like Kamala's that oh, everything is just fine. He's so competent, and he's always out ahead of everyone on everything.

So, I have a question for Kamala, on when she spoke about Biden being "absolutely authoritative" when he speaks to world leaders. In order to be authoritative, don't you have to start by knowing who you're talking to? I mean, at a bare minimum. But here's Joe Biden talking about Xi Jinping and confusing him with Deng Xiaoping, and getting very angry in the process.

"I've said this to Deng Xiaoping in the Himalayas," Biden said. Then he got angry, yelling there's "nothing" Americans can't do.

He's told this story in the past but referring to Xi Jinping. This was his mess of a comment last year on it where you couldn't even figure out what word he was trying to say.

Paging Kamala, come get your guy. And it's time for that talk you said you would have with the American people, "if necessary."
