The Macron-Netanyahu joint press conference has ended, here’s a recap:
Netanyahu vowed that Israel would destroy Hamas, and that Israelis would not “live under Hamas tyranny”.
Macron
called for a “decisive relaunch” of the Palestinian peace process. He
said he would be discussing this issue later Tuesday during his meeting
with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank city of
Ramallah.
Macron
also called for the international coalition against the Islamic State
(IS) group to be expanded to also fight Hamas after the October 7
attacks on Israel.
