Lloyd Austin Travels to Africa to Praise 'Security' as Biden Border Crisis Grows Worse by the Day

If Lloyd Austin isn't the worst defense secretary in the history of defense secretaries, I don't know who takes the title. From seemingly prioritizing "woke" ideology over U.S. fighting-force capabilities and engaging in partisan hackery, Austin has been a national embarrassment from the beginning. Unfortunately, he's about to "up" his game.

Austin was scheduled to embark on a trip to Africa on Saturday, where he plans to visit various U.S. allies in the region.

The taxpayer-funded trip will include stops in Djibouti, Kenya, and Angola. Austin also plans to meet with U.S. military personnel stationed in Djibouti and Kenya, where he'll reiterate "the Department's appreciation and gratitude for their service and dedication to promoting peace and security in the region," according to a Pentagon travel advisory.

Speaking of security, the never-ending Biden Border Crisis has rendered security on America's southern border virtually non-existent as tens of thousands of illegal aliens continue to surge into the country non-stop — many of them unchecked.

The question begs to be asked:

At what point should U.S. troops be deployed to the border to put an end to the madness once and for all? They won't be — as long as mumbling Joe Biden sits in the White House and serial liar Alejandro Mayorkas heads the Department of Homeland Security.

The very term homeland security has become a cruel joke under the dangerously failed "leadership" of the worst president in at least modern history. As various silly memes challenge, "Prove me wrong."

According to Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder, Austin's trip is intended to "underscore the United States's commitment to building and reinforcing security partnerships with African nations and to promote African-led initiatives and regional solutions to security issues."

How to put this tactfully... what the hell does the promotion of African-led initiatives and regional security issues have to do with the United States? Wait— let's go to Joe Biden for an absurd answer while he spoke before the United Nations General Assembly earlier this week:

We stand with the African Union and [Economic Community of West African States] and other regional bodies to support constitutional rule. We will not retreat from the values that make us strong. We will defend democracy — our best tool to meet the challenges we face around the world. And we’re working to show how democracy can deliver in ways that matter to people’s lives.

Uh-huh. But not the U.S. Constitution, right, Joe? And not the challenges America faces on the southern border, which, obscenely, were intentionally created by Biden himself.

Incidentally, equally worthless Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with leaders from the Economic Community of West African States, as well as Mauritania, to discuss the “complex political crisis in Niger,” spokesman Matthew Miller said in a statement on Friday.

Partners were united in their position that the National Council for Safeguarding the Homeland in Niger must release President Mohamed Bazoum, his family, and all those unlawfully detained. The Secretary outlined the steps the United States has taken to support ECOWAS pressure on the CNSP to restore democracy, including restricting more than $600 million in security and development assistance, and suspending Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compacts.

Let's see... so we hit Austin, Biden, Mayorkas, and Blinken. Let's toss in Attorney General Merrick Garland and make it a "royal" flush — before the "Fab Five" flushes America even farther down the toilet.
