'Missing' Biden Witness Speaks out, and It's Not Good for Joe
A “missing” witness is now talking and has given an interview to Miranda Devine of the New York Post that is not good for Joe Biden.
We heard House Oversight Committee Chair Jim Comer (R-KY) talk about missing witnesses/whistleblowers. The missing witness is not the whistleblower who knows about the Biden bribery form, as Comer clarified. The person is safe, according to Comer. This witness is also not one of the IRS or FBI whistleblowers. The witness who is talking is Gal Luft, a former Israeli Defense Force colonel who knows about the CEFC relationship between the Bidens and the Chinese.
In March 2019, Luft met with four FBI officials and two DOJ prosecutors at the US Embassy in Brussels to provide information that Chinese state-controlled energy company CEFC had paid $100,000 a month to Hunter Biden and $65,000 to his uncle Jim, in exchange for their FBI connections and use of the Biden name to promote China’s Belt and Road Initiative around the world.
As we reported, Luft also told the FBI that Hunter Biden had an FBI mole named “One Eye” who tipped off the CEFC guys Patrick Ho and Ye Jianming that they were under investigation. Shortly after that, Ye offered Hunter $1 million to be his “private counsel,” fled to China, and shortly thereafter disappeared. Then Ho flew into New York and got arrested. So “One Eye” didn’t work out very well for them, if true.
So Luft had a lot of information and was already talking.
Luft was arrested in Cyprus in February and was awaiting extradition to the U.S. on multiple charges related to the Arms Export Control Act. But then, he skipped bail last month. Now, he is claiming he had to skip bail because he is being persecuted to protect Joe Biden.
“The chances of me getting a fair trial in Washington are virtually zero,” he said in a call from an undisclosed foreign country, explaining why he skipped bail. “I had to do what I had to do.” [….]
“I was charged for a thought crime,” he says of the gun-running allegations, which date from email correspondence five years ago. “I was asked by a bona fide arms dealer, an Israeli friend, to inquire with a company I knew if they had an item and what would be the price of an item. This is where the conspiracy ended. No follow-up, no money, no brokering activity.”
He said this was about discrediting him and what he knew about the Bidens.
“When it was clear the Republicans are going to win the House or the Senate, all of a sudden comes [GOP Rep. James] Comer and [GOP Rep. Jim] Jordan and the game is changing. There will be questions and subpoenas and investigations [so] they [the administration] have to discredit me. [….]
“I didn’t want to get caught up in this game, but when they arrested me I had no choice but to blow it up.”
He tweeted back in February after his arrest, saying that the “DOJ was trying to bury him to protect Joe, Jim and Hunter Biden.” He asked if he should “name names.”
In addition to info on the deals with the Chinese, Luft also has some troubling claims about bias.
During Ho’s trial, claims Luft, prosecutors removed all reference to the Bidens from emails between Ho and Hunter associate Vuk Jeremic, who was a CEFC advisory board member, a former Serbian foreign minister and ex-president of the UN Nations General Assembly.
A court transcript shows a dispute between Ho defense lawyer Edward Kim and prosecutor Dan Richenthal over whether to redact from an email the name of one of the “prominent and powerful friends” whom Ho asked Jeremic to invite to a dinner or lunch in Washington, DC, on Dec. 6, 2015.
The name of that individual is not relevant and could introduce a political dimension to this case that we don’t think is worth dealing with” Richenthal told the judge, who agreed to the redaction.
Hunter Biden’s laptop shows he had a scheduled meeting on Dec. 7, 2015, with “CEFC Chairman Ye Jienmaing [sic] and [CEFC consultant] Scott OH.”
After Ho was convicted that’s when Luft met with the FBI and the DOJ. Luft said at least two of the FBI agents who interviewed him were on the Hunter Biden investigation. He also claimed that two of the DOJ people he met with also had their names on his extradition order.
Luft told them about the CEFC payments to the Biden family members, including through Hunter’s associate Rob Walker. This has since been backed up by the bank information that Comer has been able to obtain. But Luft said that they also got the laptop which also backed up what he was telling them.
“They were sitting on all the information. No new information as needed after they had the laptop plus my proffer yet they wasted another year and did nothing so . . . now there is a guy who can shed light on the cover-up and they arrest him.”
Luft said despite everything that he told them in 2019, he never heard from them again until he was arrested.
So they had all this information that has now been confirmed back in 2019, yet they appear to have nothing at all to follow up with him on it. They also had it long before the election, yet, he’s saying they sat on it. So in addition to what this shows they had on the Bidens even back then, plus the failure to follow up on it, with no results and alleged bias, this adds even more to the big problems that Joe Biden is going to have to deal with as he goes into 2024.
