Ron Johnson: We Have Evidence Blinken Lied to Congress About Hunter Biden
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) has been one of the Senate Republicans investigating the financial dealings of the Biden family for years. We’ve seen some big news of late from the House Republicans, with Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the head of the House Oversight Committee, revealing that more Bidens were involved in the foreign business dealings or received benefits from it than we knew before.
He also told us about the IRS whistleblower who has evidence of bias in the Hunter Biden case and who has asked for protection, and who also may have the goods on Attorney General Merrick Garland lying to Congress. Comer also revealed that witnesses were afraid for their lives because of what he suggested was intimidation from the Biden team. He added he has even more evidence coming about the Biden financial dealings.
But now Johnson has some more big news out on the case. He explained to Fox’s Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” that the committee has evidence showing that Secretary of State Antony Blinken lied to them about his contacts with Hunter Biden.
Johnson explained that Blinken came in for a voluntary transcribed interview in December 2020 because “he wanted to be Secretary of State.” But with the information that they now have, Johnson said, they now know that he “lied boldface to Congress about never emailing Hunter Biden.”
My guess is he told a bunch of other lies that hopefully we’ll be able to bring him and his wife back in, tell them to preserve their records. You cannot trust Joe Biden. You cannot trust Hunter Biden. You can’t trust the Biden family. You can’t trust so many of the people that they have surrounded themselves with.
Bartiromo just wanted to make sure that she heard what Johnson said — that Blinken “lied under oath.” Johnson confirmed it.
Yes, he did. He said he did not email Hunter Biden, and now we have those emails. We also know that his wife, using her private email address when she was a[n] employee of the State Department, was basically a conduit between her husband and Hunter Biden as well. So, again, I think there’s so much more to uncover here.
There are new reports that Blinken and his wife were involved in email communications with Hunter Biden. But I wrote about the Blinken relationship that included emails and meetings back on November 24, 2020. As I said at the time, “Why is Blinken so interesting? Because he met with Hunter Biden to give ‘advice’ while Hunter was on the board of Burisma, Joe was the point man on Ukraine and he, Blinken, was Deputy Secretary of State in the State Department under Barack Obama.” That raised a lot of questions about if there was interaction and discussion about Burisma and even the firing of the prosecutor. And it wasn’t just the Hunter and Blinken correspondence. For example, there were also contacts between Hunter’s business associate Eric Schwerin and Biden’s Vice Presidential staff.
Johnson said that Comer is getting new records on top of the ones Johnson and Grassley got, and those records are uncovering more recent dealings of the Biden family. Johnson said they were going to release the transcript showing the lies next week and that Blinken and his wife better preserve their records.
Bartiromo asked Johnson if he thought there was influence peddling going on, even now, with Biden in the White House. Johnson said why wouldn’t there be, since the Bidens haven’t been held to account for anything? “Finish the job?” Johnson said about Joe Biden’s re-election announcement slogan. “What job? Destroying America? Because that’s what path he’s put this country on.”
